So it's p. obvious I haven't been around much lately. With conventions and personal things, I'm going to declare a formal hiatus for the remainder of the month. Elian is attending to some stuff out of the city (and probably out of state as well); he'll be back in August! :)

I'm Surge. I'm playing Kanaya Maryam. She's from Homestuck. Pretty nice webcomic-thing. She used to be a badass alien fashionista vampire who didn't afraid of nothing, was altruistic to the point of it probably being some kind of dependency, and eventually learned that whoops she cannot be a complete ice queen at all times in the face of dumb fucking people doing dumb fucking shit. And also murder.

Now she's a slightly less badass teenage hottie whose main hobby consists of touching gross bugs and tenderly raising carnivorous plant life. She has little patience for being treated like shit, is an effective communicator, and works as a barista. Coffee Shop AUs are her least favorite fanfiction genre in the world.

You can get me on surgeprisingly or HPlus Future (AIM). There are some other contact things on the Contact thing but those are the main two.

Slightly late to the newbie train

Adding to the new players, hello there!

I'm Heather and i'll be bringing you this guy, Derek Hale, from Teen Wolf. That show involving teenagers, werewolves and questionable CGI/green screen effects.

Canon-wise he is, in fact, one of the werewolves that wanders around the town. Specifically he's the shady one who just seems to turn up in places he logically shouldn't be able to get into. Like someone's bedroom. Or inside a school.
He doesn't have the best people skills, tends to go for the violent route instead of trying to settle things calmly and has a habit of withholding information. There's also the little matter of his abysmal luck that tends to affect those around him.

His reincarnation, however, is a leap in the other direction, although he is keeping his original name. Not being a werewolf and inadvertently getting the majority of your family killed certainly helped that along.
This time around he actually grew up to be a functioning member of society. He's 25 and actually has a job, instead of living off various life insurance claims, as a teacher of Folklore and Mythology at the university.

If it's not obvious by this point, i'm pretty terrible at making intro posts.

one of your resident keydurps here. I just wanted to let you know that per my usual work shenanigans, I've been assigned to work the company booth at Comic Con International. This means that I'm gonna be REALLY slow ot nonexistat on tagging until I get back on Monday.
