I've been approached personally by the mod in question to discuss a solution, and that means more to me than the apology we received. I believe she was stuck between trying to appease both her fellow mods and the offended players and made a bad call, and I'm sympathetic to that.

But those are my personal feelings and I think yours are just as valid. If you do decide to leave, then I wish you the best!

ETA: Oh, and what the above comment said is true too. That interpretation didn't even occur to me.
