Yeah, usually there's a basic curriculum that's required of all the university's students that includes... oh, math, history, politics, health, a foreign language... basically high school sort of stuff except, you know, college level. B| For example, at the university I went to, I was required to take either an 'early American history' or 'leaving off where the other class stops and up to the 90s' history class. A lot of the time there'll be like a basic class and then at least two options you can choose from to snag the rest of that particular credit required, so... yeah. IF THAT MAKES SENSE?
Maybe LCU makes its students take a world history class and Arianna teaches a few of them on the fringe of her more specialized classes? Kallie wouldn't really ditch (much) the classes she doesn't like, but she'd be pretty hella bored and reeaaally not excited about history, lemme tell ya.
Alternatively maybe she knows someone who lives on the same dorm floor as her or something who is totally terrorized by Prof Serket and is always complaining about it, LMAO.
