What is known about them? Relatively little, all told - but he wound up on video once in December, can't have been completely unobtrusive on times he's gone to visit Espresso Yourself, and wrote a possibly excessively personal letter which has been published and in which he admits to being a perfectly goodie-goodie high school kid who's been missing since last year.
