L has a major axe to grind with Albero and will be available to help however he can, even if it's just keeping an eye on things from afar. As much as he would like to be there in person he's not superpowered or dumb and he won't insist on it, but he is great with recon, surveillance, tech stuff, coordination, interrogation, and even translation if stereotypical goons insist on communicating exclusively in Sicilian.

Tl;dr I don't think L would want to be on the front lines or be useful there, but he would want to help with his particular skill set as much as possible!
