We've been talking about it on plurk and there seems to be a bit of a semantic snag regarding the word "apocalyptic", which... admittedly conjures up some pretty intense and vivid imagery. We think that post-war is a lot more accurate and concise for the direction we're ultimately heading in, which is still pretty bleak but does allow for the kind of slice-of-life oasis a lot of characters might prefer to stick to. I have periods where I want to get more involved in the plot and periods where I want to focus more on CR and IC personal stuff so believe me, there is no judgment there. (In other words, if that's what's keeping you from considering, know that I fully expect and will probably even participate in this behavior sporadically with my own character(s).) :B
While keeping the plotting posts going for everyone who does want to participate, of course! Weekly ones might be a little bit demanding to keep up consistently over time, even with a dedicated and skilled mod team, but linking back to STE's posts and systems sounds like a brilliant idea and I'm sure that I could manage bi-weekly plot posts at least. I love tl;dring so I'm actually really looking forward to that aspect of helping run a game.
