It appears that as of earlier this month he's been taking shelter with Bakura's family - but from early June until that point he'd been spending his days assisting out of the way at the LSR Clinic and his evenings holing up or moving discreetly without straying far in the Dead District, if perhaps some sort of backdated run-in would be a simpler place to start. XD

And as for Shawn I thought that might be a prospect~ His interest in metal is for the sake of abstract arts and crafts projects which he both executes and stashes outside. I'd be rather open to anything of his let's say being looted to initiate something less-amicably, the two of them becoming aware of each others' interests and somewhat cooperatively scavenging, or anything else as you see fit!
