Dude, this is great!

Nick'll definitely be able to see both eye things and the voice bit - his ability lets him pick up on that stuff even if the person's trying to hide it - but yeah, he'll have no idea what it is. He's not versed enough in bird knowledge to be able to figure it out, so he'll just be like '...okay not human, great.'
