i'd thought i'd gotten to this earlier, sorry. anyway, i figure, since it's a web series so a lot of his character complexities are going to be lost, there are two options here:

1. Flanderize him. "SCIENCE SCIENCE LOGIC SCIENCE", Spock-style.
2. Flanderize him in the other direction, in a TF2 Medic sort of way.

There's something of an overlap there, but that's what I've got.
