Hey guys, new player here! I'm Steph and I'm bringing to you Naomi Kimishima of the Trauma Center games, who is at different and not mutually exclusive points in her life a surgeon, a terrorist, a medical examiner/basically a detective, and a mom. Also there are magic powers involved (healing patients and inexplicably hearing dead people, and I swear these two are mutually exclusive) because Trauma Center is that kind of series.

She's now reincarnated as Naomi Kaufman, a chemist working at a forensic lab who's recently moved to Locke City. There's some other stuff going on with her history, like being briefly involved with a gang when she was younger and taking care of her dead friends' kid, but she's trying not to make a big deal (or any deal) of that while she's here. Her info post is over this way for those interested, and I'm going to say straight out that Naomi here is more open to making friends than her previous life was so playing her here is going to be interesting and I'd really love to see how she does in this game!

Last, I have a HMD/contact post here and can be otherwise contacted through PMs and my plurk, elemental_shark. I'm looking forward to playing here, and I'll hopefully be introing tonight tomorrow because I didn't expect such a friendly reception!

Hi! I'm Lucy with two! The first Aradia Megido from Homestuck, reincarnated as Aria Megido. She's a fairly cheerful and friendly girl who likes history and a variety of nerdy things, and she lives with her sister in Japantown. She's 16 and therefore a high school student, though she also works part-time at her grandmother's antique shop (also in Japantown) and does occasional babysitting gigs.

The second is Toph Beifong from Avatar, reincarnated as Sophie Bai, 13-year-old middle school student. She's sort of blunt and snarky still, but also is more polite and willing to work with people/ask for help in her current incarnation, partly because her family support system is a lot more awesome and less overprotective. She's still blind, and has a cane and a lack of seeing feet at the moment.

Hi, and yes that sounds good! I just added a short blurb about the forensics lab where she works, in case that helps. Naomi's only been working there a month so I don't know how much they'd have seen each other, but I can certainly seeing them at least being aware of or acquainted with each other.

I think Naomi would do well with the latter half of that description and I'm a CS student myself (though I'm undergrad), so Mir sounds excellent for the record!

Trauma Center is an excellent series! My favorite, actually. I'm pretty sure the games are pretty cheap nowadays if you want to try looking around (I've definitely seen the original DS game selling for like five bucks, and the Wii game not that much more), although if you don't have a Wii that's a little bit more of a problem. Then again, that's what Youtube's for.

Wellll, a lot of times I do way too much research into games I haven't played. Whether this consitutes reading/watching an LP... it sometimes does. I just usually don't feel as strongly unless I've played the game myself.

That said, I don't have a Wii. I do have a DS but it barely holds a charge anymore.

I played Trauma Center 2 or 3 and all I remember is getting really frustrated/stuck with the pattern cancer or something. But they seemed like a pretty fantastic series nonetheless! My former roommate really liked them.

Well, for starters I went and added this on the forensics lab last night! Naomi's only been in the city for about a month so I don't know if they'd know each other too well, but it's pretty plausible to say she's handled evidence from some cases of his.
