I've actually considered the possibility that Naomi might try testing the water since she has the know-how and is pretty interested in what could have such specialized effects as "only affects people who have numbers stuck in their head," but dismissed it since it would be a risk she might not take (her job being largely about accountability for one's work and all). If there's some public interest, though, that might be the excuse she needs to get going with a test, or some place could actually commission her lab to do some work.
