This one comes from a ye olde 90's anime where friendship gives you a soul and giant pandas roam the earth with whale gods. And no, none of that last sentence was exaggerated in the slightest I'm sorry. It's called Brave Police: J-Decker, and if you don't believe me, I wish I were kidding.

His name is Shadowmaru, and he's just as weeaboo as he sounds. A giant ninja robot with entirely too many transformation modes. Here, though, he goes by the name of Yuji Takenaka (or Takenaka Yuji if we're being precise) and is a police detective with homicide.
