Sup, I'm Zack. I'm totally new to this game but I am excited to get going! I'm bringing with me this adorable rapscallion that some of you may be aware is actually the greatest source of pottery related damages in all of Hyrule. Everybody welcome Link, or as he'll be known here Luke Kokiren. Info post is here for all those interested.

Things of note would be the fact that Luke is in fact 10 years old, although that will eventually become less obvious. Also he recently moved to the city from a very rural area. From my cursory glance over the taken list I know we have some Homestucks and a Toph who are possibly closer to him in age, but it'd be great if I could plot with anyone with a muse 14 or under as far as people he may have seen/bumped into at his new school or possibly some kind of day-care program? Just so that when he pokes around the network he sees some familiar faces. Feel free to hit me up in this post, or at iamtheuberlorax on aim or plurk.

And fffff Link would probably be very intimidated by a loud and bossy 14 year old BUT if we were mean we could make her his tutor of sorts. My school often had programs that paired kids in the upper grades with lower ones to encourage them to READ or care about MATH or any number of things that didn't actually work that well. But that's all up to you of course.

AFTER RECHECKING AMERICAN SCHOOL GRADE/AGE match-ups I realize that they are actually probably not in the same school at all unless it is a weirdly divided one. Luke's in 5th grade, so a high schooler would prooooobably not have much overlap with him whoops.

Also she's actually in a special university program because prodigy in every lifetime so yeah. Also I suck at AUing.

Also American schools are weird since they tend to end up being six years (elementary)/two years (junior high)/four years (high school). I mean, really?

YEAH I have also seen five/three/four, six/three/three, and a simple eight/four split. /shrugs forever at the public schooling system

Hi! I'm Lucy with two! The first Aradia Megido from Homestuck, reincarnated as Aria Megido. She's a fairly cheerful and friendly girl who likes history and a variety of nerdy things, and she lives with her sister in Japantown. She's 16 and therefore a high school student, though she also works part-time at her grandmother's antique shop (also in Japantown) and does occasional babysitting gigs. She babysits, so there's that.

The second is Toph Beifong from Avatar, reincarnated as Sophie Bai, 13-year-old middle school student. She's sort of blunt and snarky still, but also is more polite and willing to work with people/ask for help in her current incarnation, partly because her family support system is a lot more awesome and less overprotective. She's still blind, and has a cane and a lack of seeing feet at the moment. SO YEAH, SHE'S CLOSER.

My two great loves outside of Zelda are Avatar and Homestuck so I am WAY EXCITED to play with you.

The baby sitting could definitely work if we wanted to do that! Luke lives with his Grandfather, and when they lived out in farm country Luke got to just sort of go wherever whenever with little to no supervision. Now that they're in the city however that's going to change so a babysitter could definitely be a thing.

As for Toph she's innnn 8th grade yeah? They could conceivably be at the same school, so he has probably seen/noticed her. Although the opposite is probably not true given how very quiet Luke is. Unless she has a seeing eye dog in which case Luke would be all over her because animalssssss. He misses the farm. :c

Well she is more than happy to have done so / to do so in the future. I think she's pretty okay at it? She likes kids and will pretty much play video games/color/play stupid pretend games with them based on age and what they want to do. She is weird.

And yeah, that's correct!! SHE DOES NOT HAVE A SEEING EYE DOG, SADLY, but she does have a cane. :|b that's it so far

Cool! So Luke and Aria have met, and Aria has met Declan who is roughly the human equivalent of the Deku tree. Luke probably came off as kind of surly and uncooperative the first time around (think 'I don't need a babysitter grumpiness), but would have opened up if she's seen him on a regular basis. Up to you if that has happened yet.

Ah well, I am sure they will wind up having CR regardless. The Good Guys in Green duo is too good to pass up.

Awesome! The other thing that could easily happen is that Aria could catch Luke surfing the network or vice versa. Link in real life, someone walks in on someone else. This would be good because Luke is probably going to take the general premise of 'lurk moar' very much to heart and will probably need a nudge to start actually posting himself, and knowing from a trusted semi-authority figure that it is an 0kay thing to do would help.

That could definitely work too! Given that Luke is a) not great at math/science to begin with and b) going to be preoccupied with echo shenanigans it is very likely that his grades will just tank. We can definitely set something up a few weeks down the line.

Both of my fellows are older, but I'll lob somebody at that kiddo in the network anyhow. This guy's military and does kendo, while Pierce (Clear from DRAMAtical Murder) has a musical bent, so eventually they might have things to talk about.

But gosh, how will you know your objectives without a fairy?

It probably will happen. He's used to being able to roam free in a town of around 800 people where there are like six roads. And now suddenly there are intersections EVERYWHERE.

Oh man that would be so great. And cause it's a Stark gadget it is probably also a day planner so instead of "Go to death mountain" it would nag him to do his homework.

Oh good ol' Kokiri Village - I mean, good ol' Luke's hometown. Yeah city life's going to be a blast. Not so quiet at night either.
