OCTOBER ACTIVITY CHECK
Activity check will remain open through November 7th. Only activity from October 1st through October 31st will be acceptable.
All characters accepted a week before this announcement (Oct 25) and who are not already on hiatus must check in by or on the 7th or be removed from the game.
Hiatuses a week or more in length may be used instead of providing activity. HOWEVER, please note that doing so two months in a row will constitute a strike, which will stay in place for four months.
For characters using hiatus and new characters accepted within the last month: it is not necessary to fill out the 'Activity Summary' section and all four threads. Simply listing the new character's name, journal, and info post is fine. Players currently on hiatus need not worry, though you are also welcome to provide links to activity upon your return to avoid potential strikes from using a hiatus two months in a row!

Threads do not have to be a set length to count, but it must be evident that some work/thought was put into them. A network-based thread of many brief comments may hold the same weight as a shorter one with a higher word count per comment. Threads can be from the same entry, so long as they are with different characters. In other words, don't sweat it, though if you feel four threads is not enough, you may provide up to two more, both of which can be with a character who is the same as in one of the first four linked threads.
Strikes: If your character does not meet activity requirements for whatever reason, you may opt to take a strike for them by replying here or speaking with a mod. Characters with an existing strike who then qualify for another will be removed from the game. However, again, each strike only lasts four months before being reset. For example, a character who has a strike from August will need to have activity or a declared hiatus each month up to and including December's activity check.

Activity Summary: Winter has been fairly active and extremely vocal this month; she started off getting in Bakura's way as he burst out of the school, then spent time sulking about it, then spent more time trying to fix her self-image after that... and then she got fed up with letting other people get hurt on her behalf and went snake-hunting, regaining her magical girl form in the process. And then the Dead District blew up, and she's been panicking ever sense, and she's quite suspicious of the police being in what she views as her school, which is likely to get her in trouble.
