OCTOBER ACTIVITY CHECK
Activity check will remain open through November 7th. Only activity from October 1st through October 31st will be acceptable.
All characters accepted a week before this announcement (Oct 25) and who are not already on hiatus must check in by or on the 7th or be removed from the game.
Hiatuses a week or more in length may be used instead of providing activity. HOWEVER, please note that doing so two months in a row will constitute a strike, which will stay in place for four months.
For characters using hiatus and new characters accepted within the last month: it is not necessary to fill out the 'Activity Summary' section and all four threads. Simply listing the new character's name, journal, and info post is fine. Players currently on hiatus need not worry, though you are also welcome to provide links to activity upon your return to avoid potential strikes from using a hiatus two months in a row!

Threads do not have to be a set length to count, but it must be evident that some work/thought was put into them. A network-based thread of many brief comments may hold the same weight as a shorter one with a higher word count per comment. Threads can be from the same entry, so long as they are with different characters. In other words, don't sweat it, though if you feel four threads is not enough, you may provide up to two more, both of which can be with a character who is the same as in one of the first four linked threads.

Activity Summary: This month, Reilanin decides she wants to try and get a little more involved, though in reality she's balking at the whole thing. Everytime she goes it, she feels, something bad happens. Last time it was her hearing. For a fair chunk of the month she's been wandering around wondering what that mysterious echo was at the Tuning Towers, and a conversation with Randolph Lyall later on helps her figure out that it's healing she's gotten back.
The perfect thing to ready her for her first transformation.
Besides the usual concerns about parts of the city being blown up, strange-smelling search dogs sniffing around and becoming a werewolf, the upcoming absence of Alexander worries her, as does the continuing zombification of Anthony, all of which is helping it hit home a little harder. (but she can pretend a little longer, right?)
...that transformation is going to hurt like a bitch. Literally.
Thread 1: Stella asks about knots. Reilanin obliges. (Since when was there a ferret on the network?) | October 1st.
Thread 2: Batlex flies into Reis face while she is puttering home on her scooter. | October 7th. (9th technically, for the thread)
Thread 3: Walter Westerfield makes a call for public servants to speak up about what resources they can offer. Rei pitches in. | October 9th
Thread 4: Julien posts a picture of a bat. Reilanin recognizes that bat! | October 9th
Thread 5: Alexander and Rei go out for coffee and chat a bit, to get to know one another better. | October 14th (for the first week of October, though.)
Thread 6: Alex asks if Rei is ready for the full moon. The answer is no. | October 14th (for realsies)
Thread 7: Ravindra wants to know more about the Tuning Towers. Rei manages to finagle some blueprints off of an acquaintance. | October 18th.
Thread 8: Reilanin messages Randolph to see if he knows what echo se might have gotten at the Tuning Towers. She gets another echo instead, and she is pretty sure she knows which it is. They make arrangements for her to stay over at his place on the full moon. | October 21st.
Thread 9: Anthony makes a panicked post during a hallucination. She stays silent. | October 23rd.
Thread 10: Vanessa posts that she is fine despite the explosion in the Dead District. | October 23rd.
Thread 11: Emmanuel posts a general FAQ about what the heck is going on. Rei comments on the possible connection between vermini and the police dogs, but who knows. | October 28th.
Anything else?: She also pestered Harding (aka Ironhide) about wanting to go alone to the Dead District like everyone else did. She may be intimating she thinks he is dumb for it. That was on the 27th of October.
