HI STE.

My name is Emely and I am super excited to be joining you guys. My eyes had been glued to the apps page since I sent mine in! I'm bringing to you The Disciple from Homestuck, who here will be known as Magdalena de Leon. Or Maggie if you prefer.

Her info post is here which also has a link to her full application. For the most basic rundown of her, though, she is 26 years old and already a cat lady. She lives on her own with five cats since her mother is a wildcat who cannot be tamed and has gone off to travel the world. Right now Maggie owns the Winding Way a family bookstore/tea shop and is a published author.

Oh and she is a huge dork.

She has lived in Locke City all her life so if anyone would like to have some preset CR with her I have a post for that over here with a bit more info on things that might make them connect.

You know, our girls are around the same age and would have been in the same department in university, maybe they shared Latin classes.

Oh I would definitely be up for that! If she is still 26 then they are the exact same age, actually. They could have been room mates if Alexa dormed.

Oh for some reason I was thinking I put down 27 for Alexa, whoops.

And I imagine she dormed. By the end of first year she was basically FUCK THIS FAMILY I AM OUT ut even before then I think she probably wanted to get away.

Excellent, old roomies it is then. I do not know too much about Alexa, could you fill me in? And how you think they might have gotten on.

Well, her application's on her journal if you want to get the whole story, but in short: Alexa's the daughter of immigrants from Greece, whose father is basically a Greek version of Bogdan from Breaking Bad. She was expected to take over the family business, but had basically zero interest in that, and did a degree in Classics of all things at LCU. She's pretty estranged from her family at the moment.

She's bookish, shy, and rather introverted. Also she finds this whole Numbers Club thing utterly terrifying and wants to just be left alone. She currently works as a library technician at LCU. She's not really into fannish stuff like Maggie seems to be from your app - she likes to read, but she spends her reading time mostly on dumb romance novels or classical literature. So I imagine there might have been some friction, between that and Alexa's leave-me-alone attitude.

Maggie is definitely into the classics as well, she'll read just about anything. But yea I can see her more extroverted nature causing some discontent since she'd definitely want to befriend a room mate. Maggie would have been pretty interested though in her studies--I can see her just enjoying listening to Alexa if she ever talked about it.
