homestuck troll cast weigh in.

so for trolls, since they're not a lot of canon on biology i was wondering what you're guys' opinion was on the trolls having more animalistic instincts and stuff like that?

basically i'd like to give davin an echo of those instincts with the growling/chirping/etc headcanon you see used in fics all the time, as well as maybe like piles as a source of comfort etc, but i didn't want to do something like that without checking to see if assuming that sort of headcanon would be acceptable or not. let me know please!

I think trolls are all physically diverse enough that there's room for plenty of leeway for individual preference for little things like that? Personally I wouldn't blink at some of them having animalistic instincts/pointy ears/insert popular headcanon of choice here and some of them not. 8|b

Agreeing with Vriska-mun. It does make sense to have that variation--and that said variation is one of the things that makes a particular lusus empathetic towards a particular troll. Then of course the upbringing itself would add certain traits. I'm cool with all that was mention~

pretty much with Vriska-mun said. I'm fine with whatever since there's enough biological diversity in their race to leave leeway for some things and it's not like they haven't been shown hissing and growling in comics
