Hey, what's up, internet. My name is Jeff, I'm new to this game and I'm very excited to bring with me a guy you may have heard of: Clark Kent, AKA Kal-El, AKA red-underwear-sunlight-punch-wizard. Yes, Superman, the Man of Steel from the 2013 film, Man of Steel.

He's reincarnated as Calvin Kent, a pro athlete who plays for the Locke City Thunderbolts, Locke City's pro baseball team - which it totally has and has had for like. Years. It's been there this whole time. Trust me. At some point, I'd like to put together some info about the team, their history, where they play and post it somewhere to add a bit to the setting. For the moment, rest assured of the following: The team kicks ass, and they have a sweet stylized lightning bolt on their uniforms. As for Calvin, he's lived in Locke City and been the center fielder for the team for five years now, so he's a reasonably prominent figure throughout the city, most recently being seen on a TV a little over a month ago during a playoff game slamming into a wall and injuring himself trying to catch a fly ball (which led to the team losing the game and having their season ended. whoops). So he's not in the...perkiest of moods right now.

The eponymous one. It would fit in a fairly horribly literal sense. Works for Clark too, though, and I'm sure it's a specific line reference to Man of Steel which I never got around to seeing.

BUT OKAY she went and vandalised enemy property with her boyfriend Alan, kind of got slightly arrested and was interrogated/detained by awful mean bad guy cops for three days

And then organised her own jailbreak using Karson/Karkat as her mind control proxy

Annnnd now she's kind of a fugitive who's all over the news as part of ~*the mysterious group of eco-terrorists*~ running rampant in locke city

Look if Iron Man 3 taught us anything it's that being accused of terrorism is the perfect stepladder to a long and healthy acting career. This is exactly the kind of big break she was looking for.

And my other is Gohan of DBZ, who has been reincarnated as Jeffrey Solberg, a very nervous college whiz kid doing a double major in economics and architecture. Because when your old self could pretty much just push buildings over, it makes sense to have him be able to build the things in his next life. Hi! I'm Lucy with three, and I just got out of finals ridiculousness so I will now...actually be around. The first is Aradia Megido from Homestuck, reincarnated as Aria Megido. She's a fairly cheerful and friendly girl who likes history and a variety of nerdy things, and she lives with her sister in Japantown. She's 16 and therefore a high school student, though she also works part-time at her grandmother's antique shop (also in Japantown) and does occasional babysitting gigs.

The second is Toph Beifong from Avatar, reincarnated as Sophie Bai, 13-year-old middle school student. She's sort of blunt and snarky still, but also is more polite and willing to work with people/ask for help in her current incarnation, partly because her family support system is a lot more awesome and less overprotective. She's still blind, and has a cane, although she got back her foot-sight recently. She's still practicing it.

And the third is Serah Farron, from Final Fantasy 13, reincarnated as Sierra Callahan. Sierra is a 20-year-old girl from a family of four (she has a younger brother) who works as a secretary at a local veterinary clinic. When she's not doing that, she attends classes in the four-year veterinary technologist program at Locke U. She's fairly independent, preferring to do things on her own (she feels ill at ease not being able to do so, and tries everything else before requesting assistance, though she'll reluctantly get around to that), and sort of tends to keep her problems to herself. While she's fairly cheerful and friendly, she's super stubborn and a fair amount more selfish than canon-Serah was. She's also the most cautious of the three re: network information. Also her hair is currently light brown.
