Hello and good evening to all, I am (trying really hard not to scare you all away with my excite) (failing miserably at that task) (reconsidering the logic behind using these parentheses in the first place) (Abilene), and I am 100% brand-spankin'-new to StE.

Well. 95% new. If you count knowing a couple people from previous games prior to this. But I digress.

The fact of the matter is that I'm all sorts of excited to be joining you here, and I'll be bringing you a fresh incarnation of Riku from Kingdom Hearts! To make a long story short, boy's a moron: he tried to exploit darkness, failed, spent a few games figuring his shit out, and now is doing pretty ok for himself. 

In StE, where he's known as Dante Rantanen, he's kind of going to be a teenage douche--this incarnation hasn't ever had his arrogance bite him in the ass yet, and so is a lot more sardonic than his counterpart in later games. Due to constantly traveling with his parents when he was younger, Riku's not really that great (or even interested) in forming long-lasting friendships; he tends to make superficial connections based on what they might be able to do for him later on. He's been in Locke City for about a year and a half now, so not really new to the area, but just graduated from Locke City Academy here this past school year. Not doing anything with his life as of yet because he's just a bum coasting off his parents' money. No reason not to, right?

(also redwaaaaaaaall eventually i'm gonna read more of those books ;w; i've only read the legend of luke up to now but i remember how fun a series it was)

DON'T WORRY I DEFINITELY KNOW HOW IT GOES and honestly it's not gonna be tooooo big a thing here at the start anyways given how they're all so drastically different from their preincarnations so NOT A PROBLEM also i have in fact noticed how this universe's Sora is p much a little dickwad and iT MAKES ME LAUGH WE'RE GONNA TURN YOU INTO A HAPPY-GO-LUCKY DORK YET SKYLER JUST YOU WATCH (AND BECAUSE CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL OF COURSE)

but basically he joined a gang and it was his own choice ouob i kept the actual process off the community and handwaved a LOT so i wouldn't put pressure on the mods but i do have a timeline for this and it made perfect sense. to skyler.

(the quality... kind of dives... but i totally suggest reading all of them and eating a bit before you do so all of the food descriptions don't make you hungry *^*b)

(What i'm getting at here is that I really want CR with you but Skyler is also kind of a horrible asshole so getting them to talk without them wanting to kill each other or just want nothing to do with each other might be.... hard!! Right now, me and Axel's mun are kind of playing it by ear, and we can do the same thing too! I just want to know if you have any idea about how we can run them into each other without them giving up on each other at first sight, especially since Skyler has a pretty bad impression of Riku right now (he's only echoed back pieces of KHI and that one soundbite of Xemnas asking him if he trusts riku THIS IS AWUFL KAIRI SAVE THEM))

(also IT MAY NOT BE AS DIFFICULT AS YOU THINK???? I mean after all Dante has only echoed back the one memory of wandering through the darkness alone, and even though he heard Mickey call him by name in it, it's not something he's necessarily going to be spreading around. Not to mention the fact that Dante is kind of used to dealing with assholes and people full of themselves and will riff back and forth :> Skyler would have to try pretty hard to get Dante to just write him off entirely; he'd be much more likely to just lift an eyebrow and be a judgmental asshole back XD;;;;;; YEAH LITTLE TEENAGE DOUCHEBAGS)

he's also pretty good at GETTING HIJACKED BY THE BAD GUYS AND GETTING HIS HEART STOLEN so I'm just rolling with the THEME HERE
