Hello and good evening to all, I am (trying really hard not to scare you all away with my excite) (failing miserably at that task) (reconsidering the logic behind using these parentheses in the first place) (Abilene), and I am 100% brand-spankin'-new to StE.

Well. 95% new. If you count knowing a couple people from previous games prior to this. But I digress.

The fact of the matter is that I'm all sorts of excited to be joining you here, and I'll be bringing you a fresh incarnation of Riku from Kingdom Hearts! To make a long story short, boy's a moron: he tried to exploit darkness, failed, spent a few games figuring his shit out, and now is doing pretty ok for himself. 

In StE, where he's known as Dante Rantanen, he's kind of going to be a teenage douche--this incarnation hasn't ever had his arrogance bite him in the ass yet, and so is a lot more sardonic than his counterpart in later games. Due to constantly traveling with his parents when he was younger, Riku's not really that great (or even interested) in forming long-lasting friendships; he tends to make superficial connections based on what they might be able to do for him later on. He's been in Locke City for about a year and a half now, so not really new to the area, but just graduated from Locke City Academy here this past school year. Not doing anything with his life as of yet because he's just a bum coasting off his parents' money. No reason not to, right?

I'm about to be absent for a day or so because of Christmas (I AM THE QUEEN OF BEST TIMING), but I'm hoping to get the ball rolling here soon. I AM LOOKING FORWARD SO MUCH TO PLAYING WITH YOU ALL :)

WE SHOULD DO A LOG WITH THEM SOMETIME after the holidays maybe so they can meet and Varric can be like "...what did my brother do now how do i fix it all right get over here kid"

ABSOLUTELY probably sometime here after I wrap up with Riku's first entry?? Because oh man I had forgotten what it felt like to be tagging like the wind and I am so slow ;; So trying to keep everything to one post until it slows down enough to breathe.
