I've been debating over this for a while, but recent personal happenings have made it inevitable. I haven't been able to keep up with this game nearly as much as I'd like, and for something so plot-heavy, that's essential. So after almost eight months (!) here at STE, I'm going to be dropping Emmanuel.
I want to thank everyone I've interacted with here, either ICly or OOCly. I had an awesome time, and I'm going to just have Emmanuel lose all his Echoes in case things look up in a month or two. I also might return with a different character, depending, but it's farewell for now.
IC stuff: Being the meticulous person he is, at some point Emmanuel wrote five letters, addressed to Julien, Aaron, Kallie, Chris, and Elian. They say, as vaguely as possible, to check if they can "still contact him" and if not, that he can no longer update the FAQ. (he put postage on them and put them on his kitchen table with a note saying to mail them, so in the event that he forgot everything, he would hopefully just see it and do so.) Officially the day he disconnected was the day after Christmas, so the letters will arrive a day or two after that. Aaron's is addressed to the LSR clinic. He also left a reminder for himself to send a donation to the clinic every month.
In other matters, the church is still available for group gatherings if people approach him about it, though they'll have to come up with an excuse like a book club or something.
Let me know if you want to wrap up/discuss handwaving threads or anything, and we can work something out.

Julien will be unhappy, but'll still talk to him on inconsequential topics now and then. Though it may taper off if Emmanuel notices he's showing stress.
