Hello Save the Earth! I'm Des, and I'm trying this game again with Beyond Birthday from Death Note, or "BB Ueno" as he's known in the current life.

Beyond, in canon, was born with the shinigami eyes which let him know when everyone he knew would die. He was then orphaned in horrible ways and placed into a high-pressure detective training program for child geniuses where he was taught to idolize a specific role model. So as you might expect, he was an incredibly balanced person ... just kidding. He decided his life had no value on its own and became a serial killer.

His reincarnation BB, on the other hand, is a fun-loving, loyal, and sensitive guy who is very squeamish about blood and death but is determined to become a detective because that's what his heart (read: his first echo) is telling him to do!! His full app is here. Let the games begin.

Newer series or the original? :D (though really, they all worm their way in and just... stay. It's almost alarming how long I've been on this series :D )

Heeeee would say he is. But no version of him has ever been the type to tell the truth about that ;)

I watched like the first half of the original series (dropped out during doma arc and never finished, oops) and...likewise, the first 3 or so seasons of GX (pretty much only stopped cuz my hulu plus got canceled)

Not as familiar with newer stuff but I like what little I've seen of zexal. I always mean to get more into it but my attention span for anime has gotten pretty short. ;3;

Oh god Doma... Likely the best place to drop out, gotta say. (I never finished watching it either, I jumped to the AE arc. *clings to her manga*) and that's also about where I dropped out of GX too :D *high fives* But if you wanna finish up YGO:DM, totally would suggest the manga. It's a lot better and there is no filler arc, curse you Doma! Easy enough to find online to read for free too~

I keep hearing good things about zexal but I just... IDK, I think I got burnt out on card games so just never tried getting into it. (blasphemy I know, right?)

I'm eventually going to rewatch battle city for maybe-an-Ishizu-muse (I have a buddy that plays Malik, p.much the source of my kick) but idk, maybe I'll read the manga for the rest since I heard Millenium World's not taht good in the anime. I just have to get over the fact that I don't really like reading manga online, much prefer it as books. Or hope my local library gets it in eventually.

Hahah no blasphemy here. I was always shit at the card game tbh, but these darn whippersnappers with their synchros and their xyzes need to get off my lawn. (I'm permanently stuck in duelist kingdom mode because I play characters from Duelists of the Roses. It's really sad.)

Oh man, that would be pretty awesome. Ishitars are pretty rare in RP land.

And yeah, the anime... really... the Egypt arc/Millenium World has problems to start with [mainly that the mangaka was on his deathbed for part of it. He got better but oh man you can tell when the morphine drip started] and the anime made it so much worse. So many parts that I just start frothing at the mouth at. And I'm not even sure what the dub did to it on top of that. And I would lend you my copies but you're probably a bit far away for that. :)

Oh god syncros @_@ That's about when I stopped buying cards. If I wanted a complicated card game, I'd pick up Magic again! I think the only of the video games I ever beat was Sacred Cards, though. Ran out of patience for the rest of them :)
