HELLO EVERYBODY I'M BACK AGAIN WITH A THIRD CHARACTER and right before the new semester starts up again! Good life decisions, people.

Anyway, in addition to Danny and Jovan, I'm now bringing in Rex from the show Generator Rex, which is basically Evangelion, if it pretended not to be Evangelion. But more specifically, it's about a kid with robot powers who has to save the world from a disaster that was caused by the same technology that gave him his powers. Also, because it wasn't dramatic enough already: he has amnesia.

Except now, he's Chuck, the constantly travelling and very sheltered son of two Mexican diplomats who just moved to Locke back in August. He's a sophomore at Locke City Academy (because he's too good for your public school) and is pretty obsessed with the soap opera Days of Our Lives, it's kinda sad. Oh, and he just recently joined the Blood Keys! C8 So there's that.

So yeah, looking forward to playing him with everyone and I'm super eager to plot anything, if you want to hash something out here! And if you wanna get in touch with me elsewhere, my Plurk is

Yesssss LCA students. Bring it on. Chuck's in like all standard classes, plus he plays varsity basketball, so that's his deal at school. What about Alex?

Usual classes for Alex, too. He's kind of a geek, and probably in whatever computer club the school has. I think it would be kind of funny if they didn't like each other, if you don't mind! Like, if Alex didn't know Chuck that well, but had decided athlete + diplomats' kid = snooty jock.

ahahaha yes, I'm cool with that! (although you should know, Alex, he's only a snooty jock if he wears his letterman jacket around everywhere. ~~do basketball players get letterman jackets? how do high school sports work anyway~~)

They could like recognize each other as being classmates, though--just from seeing each other in the hallways or maybe sharing a few classes but never talking before in them. Chuck's in that situation a lot, being the new kid and all.

Knowing each other from just seeing each other around works for me!

(pssst you get a letterman jacket when you excel within the program enough to make it onto the varsity team! anyone who doesn't make the cut usually get put on junior varsity teams to get enough experience to have another go at it the following year. most high school sports teams can spring for letterman jackets if they're well funded enough! slides away)

nah, but yoko's a senior at lca, she runs the volunteer service club and is captain of the tennis team, so chuck is free to recognize her!! "son of diplomats" sounds like the kind of thing that would have gone around like wildfire at my private co-ed high school, so she would probably at least know of him? though i think she's likely to not have said much to him unless he was taking up her spot at a lunch table tbh.

He...MIGHT'VE taken up a spot at her lunch table a few times. Kid doesn't really have any set group of friends he eats lunch with, so he just kinda. Sits wherever there's space and wherever is least awkward at any given time.

BUT YEAH!!! LCA kids! Maybe they also have met every now and then because they're both involved in school sports? Is...is that a thing kids do on different sport teams? ~~Oh god I don't know anything about how high school works~~

in that case she probably kicked his bench and told him to scoot over. she's generally amiable enough, though. that would've been the end of it.

it's likely they would have been around each other for pep rallies, if nothing else, since jersey runs tennis in the fall. the tournament season matches up with the beginning of basketball season. (shit i only know because my sister is a cheerleader etc etc). basketball games tend to be well-attended in my experience, so she'll definitely have been present at a bunch of them.

basically, if they aren't at least passingly familiar with each other, that would be weirder. is he the type to go to parties?

He's the type to try going to parties, but not the type to get invited to them often because he's so socially isolated sometimes. But if she ever did invite him to a party, he probably would've gone! (And then left, because kid gotta get home before curfew, man.)

But yeah, I'm cool with them knowing each other in passing from sports stuff too! It makes perfect sense and all.

No I just like being sarcastic about all of the things that are supposedly "Eva ripoffs". It's like saying Gurren-Lagann invented drills or Pacific Rim invented sea monsters.

...but i'm really not kidding about this one, I don't usually make Eva comparisons but my god man. This one is just uncanny.

Some time this month, yeah. She's not planning on doing anything violent, just trying to scope out the construction site and inevitably get spotted because she has no skill points in anything besides Knowledge and Intimidate.
