Meet Master Neloth from the Elder Scrolls games! In his past life he was an old asshole dark elf wizard guy who lived in a mushroom tower, dissected magical creatures and enchanted the shit out of everything that came across his path. He's been reincarnated as Nathaniel Mithryn, who is also old. And an asshole. But instead of being an amazingly accomplished wizard, he just sells books. It's a bit of a downgrade.
