Meet Chichiri from one of many very terrible 90s shoujo fantasy series, Fushigi Yuugi.

He's not a whole hell of a lot different from canon Houjun (aka Chichiri, so many names), other than being more condescending and a bit of a brat. For those of you unfamiliar with very terrible 90s shoujo fantasy series, he's also missing an eye, likes to talk in silly voices, wears masks whenever possible, and is a huge dork with an odd sense of humor. All the goofiness and teasing with a lot less of the maturity! The Total Package.

But enough of that loser. I go by Gus and can be found at slowfunk if you'd like to hit me up for plotting or whatever else.

I'm Alec and I play this guy here - Sho from the movie Moon Child. In his previous life, he was a street rat that grew up to become a mob boss and then was turned into a vampire by his BFF. In this life, he is a trust fund baby that is 'finding himself' in America, having brought his fancy sports car and his cosplay gear while doing so.

If by "trust fund baby," you mean that Sho is a bit of a brat, then you're in luck! There could be much condescending jerkiness if he and Houjun met. Unless I read too much into that, which in that case, I'm sure there's something else they could clash over/find in common. Ahah.

He's a spoiled brat of a bratty nature that started being bratty at age 6 and hasn't stopped. He's slightly less bratty but that's because he has echoed back ten years of life and is actually 35 years old and not 25 but he hasn't realized that's why he has calmed down a little. Don't worry though, he still is a brat.

Dang, Fushigi Yuugi. Man, that takes me back. I think I had the first tape of that! Never did finish it, but that was back when you had to pay to watch anime (since you can't stream on dial-up) but I had fun with the stuff I did see. And I remember Chichiri was pretty cool from what I read of the manga.

Well now's your chance! (But not really. You're honestly not missing much as the good characters kind of get ignored/killed off for the entire second half of the series. Quickly moves from fun to very sad.)

My favorite part of rping characters from older series is the people who actually recognize them.

Hi! I'm Lucy with three! The first is Aradia Megido from Homestuck, reincarnated as Aria Megido. She's a fairly cheerful and friendly girl who likes history and a variety of nerdy things, and she lives with her sister in Japantown. She's 16 and therefore a high school student, though she also works part-time at her grandmother's antique shop (also in Japantown) and does occasional babysitting gigs.

The second is Toph Beifong from Avatar, reincarnated as Sophie Bai, 13-year-old middle school student. She's sort of blunt and snarky still, but also is more polite and willing to work with people/ask for help in her current incarnation, partly because her family support system is a lot more awesome and less overprotective. She's still blind, and has a cane, although she got back her foot-sight recently. She's still practicing it.

And the third is Serah Farron, from Final Fantasy 13, reincarnated as Sierra Callahan. Sierra is a 20-year-old girl from a family of four (she has a younger brother) who works as a secretary at a local veterinary clinic. When she's not doing that, she attends classes in the four-year veterinary technologist program at Locke U. She's fairly independent, preferring to do things on her own (she feels ill at ease not being able to do so, and tries everything else before requesting assistance, though she'll reluctantly get around to that), and sort of tends to keep her problems to herself. While she's fairly cheerful and friendly, she's super stubborn and a fair amount more selfish than canon-Serah was. She's also the most cautious of the three re: network information. Also her hair is currently light brown.
