Hello! I'm Siobhan, new to these parts, and I come bearing Kurt Waggoner, an alternate self of Kurt Wagner, a.k.a. Nightcrawler, of X-men relative fame. The multiverse is just like that. Comic books. Anyway, Kid Nightcrawler, as he is known by fans of the obscure comic he appears in and not by himself, was a dimension-hopping superhero back in his old life, combining techie genius with his weird, arboreal anatomy and ability to teleport to protect all the universes from evil incarnations of Charles Xavier. Um, again, comic books. Wacky.

Kurt in Locke City is an exceptionally nerdy high school student. He's in his junior year after skipping a few, he gets upset over A-'s, and he prefers sitting alone with large books about space to socializing. That kid. And he is, of course, a boring, ordinary human instead of blue and awesome and slightly demonic. So that's lame.

Hey, I'm Fran, I play this game loving nerd from that one show about card games [Yu-Gi-Oh!] who's actually 3 guys named Bakura all in one, who's also in the high school. Sophomore class, crappy grades because of not giving a crap about them, but likely will prod at the kid reading about the neat stuff instead of the boring stuff you have to learn for school. :)

...I will need to continuously remind myself that The Abridged Series is not actually canon. But Kurt will appreciate (albeit be slightly confused by) roughly age-appropriate camaraderie. Yay!

...Friendship is the best thing ever. Okay, I'll stop.

And this version Bakura is a biiiit more bitter about friends because he has a touch of Batman syndrome (aka, his parents are deeaaaaaaaaad.) But. Yeah. Expect a friendship speech at some point. Because YGO :D

Anywho, I'm Airdra, and I play this Hajime, who is a Kamen Rider/horrible bug-monster turned normal dude helping to run his family's Japanese restaurant. He's not the most social sort either, heh.

I'm glad you understand how difficult it is to explain anything that's going on. And I've... seen one episode of Kamen Rider, I think? But I look forward to playing, even canon-blind.

He's even weirder, since he's not only from a crazy alternate universe, but his whole job is traveling between crazy alternate universes... It's like the Exiles, only more obscure. Sigh.

Anyway, this should make for excellent interactions. There's no mention of Steve in the very brief material on Kurt's homeverse, but Spider-man is the secretary of technology, so Cap's gotta at least be president. I'll have to decide...
