Hello all, my name is Tai, and a few of you might remember when I was in this game last summer for a little while. It wasn't the right time for me to be in such a plot-heavy game and I didn't really know what to do, so I dropped, but I always kept an eye on this place and wanted to return at some point when things had settled down.
So now I have! \o/ With a new character - this is Hjalti T. Thorsson, otherwise known as the dwarf Dwalin from the Tolkien collective. I'm contributing to the inbreeding of the Middle Earth cast with this dude, since he's the younger brother ofdisdainfully, the father of youngestone, and the uncle of moreweaponsthanyou, although he hasn't seen his brother in two decades and hasn't met the younger ones. Long story short, his fiancee's family took off with her while she was pregnant, so he had no clue where they were or what was going on in their lives until he arrived back in Locke, looking to maybe heal the rift with his family since they more or less excommunicated him for falling in love with a Catholic girl. At the moment he's thrown the family into a confusing mess - which is only going to get worse when they find out he's Numbered and he finds out they're Numbered. Fun all around! Overall he's a kind of bitter, but he has a protective streak over the people he genuinely cares about and more or less kids in general since he lost his for eighteen years. He's also a mechanic, so he can fix your cars.

As another summer player who came back (I used to be Cakeboss) it's pretty cool to see others who can't stay away. Though your math is off in Hjalti's info post? If he's 43 he should have been born in 1970.
Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of the Tolkein soap opera.

The second is Toph Beifong from Avatar, reincarnated as Sophie Bai, 13-year-old middle school student. She's sort of blunt and snarky still, but also is more polite and willing to work with people/ask for help in her current incarnation, partly because her family support system is a lot more awesome and less overprotective. She's still blind, and has a cane, although she got back her foot-sight recently. She's still practicing it.
And the third is Serah Farron, from Final Fantasy 13, reincarnated as Sierra Callahan. Sierra is a 20-year-old girl from a family of four (she has a younger brother) who works as a secretary at a local veterinary clinic. When she's not doing that, she attends classes in the four-year veterinary technologist program at Locke U. She's fairly cheerful and friendly, but she's also the most cautious of the three re: network information. Also her hair is currently light brown.
