OH MAN I've been so busy farting around doing other things that I completely forgot to intro Melati Narsurya, a senior at LCU finishing up her undergrad thesis in the mechanical engineering department. She's a forcefully friendly kind of chick and can study for three days straight with only a V8 and a will of steel; she may need a trip to the local grocery for a snack if she needs to throw something together for a practical. In her downtime she's aggressively girly and enjoys shopping, chatting it up with people and playing board games. and stuff.

In another life, she was Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy from the Mass Effect Trilogy. HAVE FUN TURNING INTO A QUARIAN, MISS MELATI. HAVE FUN WITH THAT SHITTY IMMUNE SYSTEM.

I will be introducing her during the Wise Snake battle, and if anyone would like to make some pre-cr with her/plan some shenanigans, please do go ahead and tell me! She attends LCU and grew up in Brooklyn and spends most of her time crying over how many exams she has in a two week span. *^*b

gavin here graduated a little while ago from LCU but he's been a TA there for the passed year or so? so she may have seen him around if you want them to know each other. mechanical engineering is a little far from biomedical engineering but hey.

the prof he TAs for teaches medical and engineering classes so he's probably seen/talked to her! gavin was (is) a pretty cool and chill guy so there's definitely a chance, since he'd have gotten to be friends with some of the kids and stuff. currently he's mia from work because of a monsteriffic echo and ... he kind of lost most of his emotions. so maybe she'd have wondered where he was or something?

In fact, if it's all right, I'd be happy with assuming that she had a relevant class with that professor last year during the spring semester, and they know each other by name and reputation! Hers is being kind of dude-shy and really studious but she would definitely have been outgoing enough to make friendly with the TAs. :D

Hmm... Maybe a couple of years ago? Three, maybe? There was definitely a short period of time where Mels was trying to find herself, and she probably took some other non-mechanical engineering classes just to make sure she didn't want to pursue something else. :> Man, that might have been a while, but having a guest lecturer probably would have stuck in her memory a bit!
