Hello STE!! Have some more freshmeat.

My name is Mel and I'm dragging in Vash the Stampede from Trigun Maximum, whose preincarnated self possibly needs no introduction. (But the tl;dr version is "pacifist gunslinging outlaw travesty") His reincarnated self goes by the name Eriks Saverem and will probably introduce himself as Ace because he's embarrassing. He's a rookie FBI agent assigned to the madness that is Locke City right now, so he'll be dealing with figuring out a new city and the supernatural powers/memories... thing... all at once.

So that's gonna be a fun ride.

I can't intro properly until sometime next week since I have a senior thesis due on Monday (excellent) but I'm super excited to be here and look forward to playing with everyone!! You can find me over at aelesti or with a PM to this journal.

I don't mind going with high school if that's good with you! It would definitely make the impact/payoff better.

Eriks would've been seen floating around drama/music/lit-related things during the later years of high school, but he was pretty social by the end anyway, so it's possible they could've met even just in class/in a hallway/in a lunchroom/WHATEVER. I poked at Nick's app and it definitely sounds like they had a lot they could've related to each other about (both in terms of energy/extracurriculars and family situations)

And yeees, I noticed that, too! Nick didn't talk about losing his parents much, but he would've been more comfortable around someone going through something similar, so they'd have that in addition to just being generally sociable and both wanting to go into law enforcement! Maybe they met some time in a class and had to do a project together or something, and just ended up hitting it off?

That sounds plausible! And I imagine the parents issue might have been one of those things where, once it was known, it never really had to be discussed much. But having someone around who just gets it probably helps tremendously.

And yes, please do!! It'll make plotting much easier.
