Mamizou Futatsuiwa of Touhou Project is a tanuki, brought into Gensokyo as a youkai trump card, who didn't do her job very well because she actually gets along with humans really well. She has the power to shapeshift herself or things around her, has a tail as big as she is, and enjoys watching people squirm.

In this life, Sara Kirisame is the daughter of a retired loan shark, Marisa's older cousin, and a Junior in the studio art program at LCU. She's an indie-crazy hipster installation artist, her past pranks productions probably having a bit of a reputation on campus, because most of them are taking long artistic analysis monologues and using them to justify things like, I don't know, gluing dildos to every statue on campus (In fact, let's say that actually happened).

Sara is here to embarrass herself and her peers and chew gum, and nobody has actually made an effort to stay stocked up on gum since the 90s. An IC intro will be forthcoming in a few hours. If you want to plan some past CR, you can either poke around her info post or hit me up at ProfessorProf.

So yeah, what I thought would be a slowatus turned in to a full hiatus that I never posted anywhere. Sorry about that. However, I am going to work on getting Lloyd here back into the full swing of things! Yay! ...Might be tomorrow because I have work soon and it's gonna be more annoying than usual for a Friday but still.

I was aware of the plot last month, but otherwise I didn't follow things too closely. Did anything else happen outside of the lights and the buzzing and the not!zombies?

Also I might drop some older threads, but if I continue one you'd rather not feel free to just drop it yourself. And if I haven't gotten to something by the end of the weekend you were hoping I would, feel free to drop me a line.

A Short, Unexpected Party, anyone?

Hi! I'm Fae, completely new to the game, and I'm bringing you one overeager dwarf from The Hobbit (film trilogy mostly, since the films actually give him a freaking personality, but until those are done, I'm using the book too). This is Kili, the youngest dwarf in Thorin's company!

Here, though, he's Killian Ryan, seventeen year old semi-delinquent who is legally homeschooled but in reality hangs around outside either alone or occasionally with other delinquent teenagers if they're up for tagging something, occasionally trespassing, or minor disturbance of the peace. He's still fairly new to Locke City and really doesn't know too many people since, again, he doesn't attend high school. People have probably seen him around, though! I've got his info post up in his journal, as well as his app, but if you haven't read The Hobbit, beware of spoilers.

As for me, my plurk is here, if people would like to add me--just lemme know if you are so I don't block you instead! I'll have an IC intro up shortly since I have no patience and am eager to get started in game!

GREETINGS new titans of the earth-saving variety.

Which is to say hello new friends, newbie here! My name's Plus, and despite my mathematically induced naming proclivities, I am not here to bring you a math nerd, but a science nerd instead! Introducing Robin from the Teen Titans TV show (or Richard Grayson, if you wanna get civilian here), ex-sidekick to Batman, leader of a group of hilariously irresponsible metahumans, and all-around obsessive expert in martial arts and video game ass-kicking, justice enthusiast and hair gel fanatic.

This time around however, he's known as Timothy Todd, without a particularly colorful or bird-esque moniker to his name. Now he's the son of a local yakuza crimelord, commits his lack of a social life to a laboratory instead of throwing boomerangs, and trading in his excessive hair gel for an excessive use of sunglasses. He's a student at Locke City University majoring in Chemistry, minoring in Biology, and getting a concentration in Forensic Science, while also interning at the Locke City Forensic Laboratory and ignoring his general criminal family tree.

For those of you who know about Aziraphale/Francis Fell's car accident earlier in the passage of time, Tim was the student that got hit and received a broken arm for his trouble. Tim's not that mad about it personally, but boy were his parents miffed.

ANYWAY, my plurk's over here at oleseiyah, and my AIM's over at plusanagi if you wanna plot anything! I'm totally down with pre-established CR and impending lawfully-questionable shenanigans and the like. Nice to meet you all!

Sup, I'm Zack. I'm totally new to this game but I am excited to get going! I'm bringing with me this adorable rapscallion that some of you may be aware is actually the greatest source of pottery related damages in all of Hyrule. Everybody welcome Link, or as he'll be known here Luke Kokiren. Info post is here for all those interested.

Things of note would be the fact that Luke is in fact 10 years old, although that will eventually become less obvious. Also he recently moved to the city from a very rural area. From my cursory glance over the taken list I know we have some Homestucks and a Toph who are possibly closer to him in age, but it'd be great if I could plot with anyone with a muse 14 or under as far as people he may have seen/bumped into at his new school or possibly some kind of day-care program? Just so that when he pokes around the network he sees some familiar faces. Feel free to hit me up in this post, or at iamtheuberlorax on aim or plurk.

I WANT YOU to come help fight a monster

So, here's the deal. Mort here has just Echoed back Dr. Maki's ability to create Yummies, which are basically your average Monster of the Week kind of guys. He hasn't Echoed back the full range of these powers, so this Yummy's going to be a bit underpowered. It won't create more Cell Medals, meaning Mort will only be able to make this one for a while, and it will be a bit on the physically weak side as well.

Here's where you come in: Mort is going to create a Yummy completely on accident, and when it happens, the first thing he's going to do is to hit the network because MONSTER HELP WHAT DO. It'll probably trash his office and then leave, and he'll tail it. He's going to need help getting this monster good and blown up taken care of because even though he created it, he has no control over it. He'll be hoping the network has enough combat-oriented folk to take down a man-sized monster acting on desire-related behaviors he won't really be able to pinpoint yet thanks to his shock at creating the thing in the first place.

Since I kind of have no idea how I'm going to handle things beyond making that first "Hey, guys, I need help" post, I'm putting this up here to gauge monster-fighting interest. We can have a separate action thread in the network post, or I can make a separate log for the fight. Totally up to you guys. Plotting here also cuts down on a bit of confusion when I do make the post, and cutting down on confusion is always good. I'm shooting for doing this sometime next week, hopefully.
