Hello, StE folks! I'm Sceadu, and I'm brand new to this game, although I've been lurking around the edges of it for some time now. Coming along for the ride with me is The Master, from Doctor Who. This particular version is one of the more polite version of him, but he's still pretty horrible when you get down to it.

In StE, however, he'll be reincarnated as Archimedes Keller, an electronic engineer who's just recently moved to Locke City and is John's bff from their school days. He'll also be telling most people to call him Emil, since he has too many names he's not terribly fond of the most common ways to shorten his given name.


As for me, I can most commonly be found on either AIM (sceadugesceaft) or plurk (draconic). I'm glad to be here, and I look forward to playing with you all!

Thorir and John are friends - would Thorir know about/have met Archimedes before?

Also Thorir is one of the handful of older people on the network, so he'd probably talk to Emil in the long run anyway, but for now...

Thorir wouldn't have met him, at least, except maybe in passing since Emil's only just recently moved to the states. As for having heard about him, that probably depends on how much John has been talking about his school days, since he and John fell out of contact not long after starting university (several decades ago, for the both of them), and John would have referred to him as Archie or Archimedes if he had as opposed to Emil.

I'm looking forward to playing with you then, Thorir will apparently have heard of "Archie" and will be happy to meet the friend of a good friend of his...

...Also I just realized, I never introduced myself, sorry! - I'm Kira and play Thorir here, who is by far the oldest of my characters at 53, father, grandfather, owner of one of the largest businesses in Locke and used to be Thorin from The Hobbit, Blaine/Ymir from Attack on Titan who works as security, and Siiri/Sweden (PhD student of biochemistry) and Floweregg (a puppy) from Hetalia. I'm also a mod, so if there's any confusion with anything or you just want to make sure about something or whatever, don't hesitate to poke me on plurk or through PM or whatever and I'll be happy to help. Or if you want to plot something between players. Or whatever. I suck at introductions but I like talking to people.

Thorir can vouch for that, he knew him before and after (and it still weirds him out a lot and kind of scares him that someone can change so much).

That will be incredibly helpful, yes! And it'll weird Emil out a lot as well, so they can be confused about it together.

Seconding the not have met him, but it's pretty safe to say that John has mentioned Archie. Probably not talked about him at length, but yeah Thorir would know about him.

Thanks for the info! Then I guess he'd be able to figure out who Emil is if John is brought up or the place where they lived back then/went to school, given enough hints. Ssssso a maybe.
