All right, so here's an OOC plotting post for the attack on the mafia! There's no date set for it, because I wanted to make sure it worked for whoever wanted in, but ideally it'll take place in the next week or so.

The meeting will have Albero present, along with a large number of high ranking mafia members. Mods will be NPCing Albero as needed, and may also provide any other NPCing, if people want/need other stuff. I'm assuming the other mafia members can be NPCed by players attacking them, however.

I'll set a couple of threads below for specific plotting - date discussion, those going to the meeting, and those who'd want to do something with the recordings and other information Nick has. And, of course, feel free to start your own threads.

If you want your character to participate but don't want to tag into the network post, just comment here and we can handwave them signing up or whatever! I know it's a busy time of the year for people.

UPDATE on the date of the attack and structure of the attack log here! Unless anyone has conflicts, the attack will take place on the night of Monday, December 8th.

For all your self-NPCing needs.

> Mafia goons (not the higher ups, but at this point most of the medium level mafia members are altered as well) are all altered, some of them very heavily. Have them spliced with whatever you wish - depending on their animal dna, their abilities and looks will be different. Each person can only be spliced with one animal.

> Altered mafia members are also manipulated to be very obedient to the higher ups and protect them at all costs, more so than they would normally be. This can go up to the point where they are willing human shields if a PC opens fire on a higher up/Albero.

> There is a number of women in the mafia, but men are the majority. Most have English as a native language. Some dislike the numbered, some are only opportunistic or don't care - basically, have at it and have fun!

If there are any other questions re: NPCs, please ask! We absolutely encourage people NPCing themselves.

Going by those who chimed in on the date discussion, I'm going to go ahead and say the attack'll take place on Monday, December 8th. If this doesn't work for anyone, please let me know!

As far as the structure of the attack - since the mods will be NPCing Albero and there will be a Very Special mafia goon NPC, I'm figuring there will be separate threads for each of those, for people who want to specifically go after one of those. As of right now, there's no one slated to actually kill Albero, so it's up for grabs!

Otherwise, L will be working on coordination to get them in, and Xander can shadow one person at a time with him. Once they're in, it'll just be a free for all for characters to take out lackeys or other higher up members and do their own thing.

If anyone would prefer a different structure, lay it on me!
