 Hi everyone, I'm Name and totally new here. I'm bringing Haruka (you might know her as May), from the Pokemon anime.

This time around she's Haruka Minamoto, 15 years old, private school student, and the daughter of a yakuza senior advisor super legit businessman because I have terrible friends with terrible ideas. She's just spent the last five years in Japan under the most generous protection of her father's boss, but before that she was a New York City girl. She's never lived in Locke City before in her life and her parents are as much as a nonentity as they've always been and her new school's boring and the people here are ruder and honestly she'd rather be back in Japan. At least she got to travel a lot there :|

I think I do :3 ! How about this - their families are more or less estranged, Shawn and Haruka have maybe even never met, but something at home reminds her that 'hey we have relatives that are supposed to be living in this city don't we' and tracks them down to see how they're doing

and when she meets Shawn she's like 'dude can I hang around you my dad'll disapprove and it'll be great'

do you think something that would work?
