Hey, everyone! I'm Sylver, and I'll be playing this transplanted California surfer-dude, Kenji Kobayashi, who has no idea as of yet that he's the reincarnation of Kazuma the Shell-Bullet from s-CRY-ed. He also missed all the opening day shenanigans due to being away at a swim meet, but will find out about the interesting new turn his life has taken upon his return tomorrow, bwahahaha!

When he's not cutting classes, Kenji's an indifferent/unwilling student at Locke High. He studiously avoids living up to what little potential he has, and is looking forward to a brilliant future as either a dishwasher or a gas station attendant after he graduates next year. He's pretty much okay with that.

Anyway, lovely to meet you all, and I'm looking forward to playing with everyone. If you ever want to reach me for plotting purposes, you can either PM me here on Kaz's journal. I also have a plurk dementiaX that I use for RP...or complaining about crap.

Aww... Well, Kenji will probably wander around almost as much as Kazuma does in canon, so there's a good chance they could run into each other somewhere or other. Probably someplace that he shouldn't be!

Hi, I'm Gail, and I play this nice fellow here, Randall Lyall :) He's the biology and health teacher at the high school right now, so feel free to say Kenji is in one of his classes, or HAS been in one of his classes, or WILL be in one of his classes... I imagine Lyall is not too fond of him, as he is a slacker XD

Lyall will eventually be turning into a Victorian-era werewolf, but he will still not be terribly fond of slackers :B

Kenji's only been in Locke City for a few months, but yeah, he's probably in one of Lyall's classes. Lyall probably knows him as that kid who sits at the back and usually sleeps through class. ^^

He's really only a slacker when it comes to school, though. He works pretty hard at swimming or surfing--and when he gets more of his Kazuma-mojo back, he'll be positively industrious about blowing stuff up!

Btw, kudos for playing from Parasol Protectorate. That's a canon I don't see around much.

Lyall still thinks school is important. More important than blowing things up, anyway! Unless those things are evil aliens trying to destroy the world... but yes :B Kenji will not be his favorite student.

Yeah, Lyall's one of my favorites from that series, along with Madame LeFou and Akeldama.

Kenji's pretty used to being nobody's favorite student, but that could be fun, too ^^

Lyall is the best. I love Lefoux, but I can't play normals very well =/ I do best with magical characters of some kind. I am toying with putting her into a game where she can GET some kind of magical power, but until then, I stick with my werewolves :B

Negative CR is still sometimes awesome CR :D Or somewhat-negative CR anyway. Full of exasperation and scolding.

I've toyed with the idea of trying to play Akeldama. I think I could get the over the top persona he projects, but all the subtle stuff behind that persona...yeah, I'd probably fail miserably at that. I do better with punk kids like this one ^^

Yeah, hopefully not too negative; Kenji's not completely unlikeable. Exasperation and scolding sounds about right.

Oh. That'd be so awesome XD And a game like this would be a perfect place to play him, since then his tether wouldn't cause him problems.... Personally I don't think I could handle Akeldama, either ^^' I'm better off with my mild boy here. I do play Sidhaeg in another game, though :B

Yeah, not too negative ^^ He's not a troublemaker, he just doesn't work, dammit! (Also, you may be amused to note Lyall has sheep fetuses in jars at different stages of development for his sections no reproduction X3 because Lyall.)

I'm Blue, and I play Anthony here, who is apparently if I have things straight still the youngest of the reincarnations so far, being a fifteen-year-old goody-goody Sandra-Dee-ingénue-of-a-high-schooler who was in his past life one of the twelve motley protagonists from the game Eternal Darkness. Specifically a messenger in the Holy Roman Empire, and then a zombie. Sounds like the two of them could contrast pretty spectacularly. XD

But seriously, you are my biggest hero for apping from this series. I remember watching it on Adult Swim forever ago and it being the manliest thing ever. I mean, that finale? I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but seriously. That finale, dude. Truly a masterpiece. RYUUHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Anyway, Frontal here (Casval) is kind of sort of a rotten to the core villain in his past life, but at least he's a man of a class and a snappy dresser, right? That makes up for things. He's toned down for the moment but eeeeh... expect that to change soon.

I'm always pleasantly surprised to find anyone who's even heard of the series--it's almost 15 years old now. But yes, I love the ending, too! I remember at the time it pissed a lot of people off, but really, I thought it was the best way to end it.

Haha! Well, Kenji/Kazuma won't be shell-bulleting anyone for awhile yet--but I'll put it on his to-do list! ^^

i'm kou and i have this high school kiddo here, and he's kind of an over-achiever without trying too terribly hard (and hilariously, a techno-whiz), so if you ever want CR that's comprised mostly of harmless judgment and some nagging every now and again, i'm more than willing to offer him up! banagher's lived in locke for most of his life if you'd like to assume banagher might have been up to showing him around when he first moved. best fast food joints, pools, etc...

Sure we can assume Banagher showed him around after he arrived in Locke, so feel free to have him judge and nag as much as he wants. Kenji's quite a bit more laid back than Kazuma, so aside from some eye-rolling, he'll more or less just put up with it.

I'm Airdra, and I play Hajime the world destroying bug monster/Kamen Rider/his life is a complicated mess, who is now much more well-adjusted as the son of owners of a Japanese restaurant that he manages when they're not around. Kenji could have been a customer, if you want. ^^
