Hey, guys, once again, it is I, Airdra, mun of Hajime Aikawa and Arthur/Aquaman, bringing you another character. I'll be playing Dr. Maki from Kamen Rider OOO, who is pretty much not at all the sort of guy you want hanging around to try to save anything. He's a scientist who's obsessed with the idea of endings to the point of wanting to end the world, after all. As a bonus, he's kind of strange in that he always carries around this weird little doll, only speaks when he's making eye contact with it, and royally wigs out if someone disturbs it. 8D

In this life, his name is Dr. Mortimer Yokugawa (but everyone calls him Mort), and he's a psychiatrist and author of several self-help books. He's also maintained a pretty doll-free existence, and he's kind of confused as to why this one showed up in his briefcase after he visited that art gallery. He's a much nicer guy this time around, and he is intensely concerned for the well-being of everyone on the network. If you'd like prior CR, I'm so up for that. He's a psychiatrist and an author, so there are two avenues right there.

So relatively innocent at this stage...he's one of those whose preincarnation was not a nice person, most definitely. :3 He would understand that if it came up with someone else, hehe. Whether or not he knows how to deal with this sort of thing is going to be left up to how things play out.

From your description I can tell he's not so nice, but then Tamara's preincarnation wanted to destroy the world as well, and for a pretty weird reason as well. And that's part of the fun of this is to see how they end up later on.

Oh, most definitely. He'll be more well-adjusted here, if only because he's long past the childhood trauma that made him the way he was as an adult the first time around. And really, I'm probably going to do nothing but taunt him with random doll accessories for his first few Echoes, so it's not like he's remembering anything important early on. XD

Heya I'm Myth and new to the game c: Riku is a freelance photographer annnd has a past of substance abuse roughly 2 years ago. He's mostly recovered, tho! c: The funny thing is I was thinking of a "Dr. Yoshikawa" for either his family doctor or the one charge of his case. xD But yes what is Mortimer's specialization?

...Also what books does he write? XD

Hey there! Mort's more of a general practitioner than anything at this point AKA I haven't thought of a specialization yet, but he definitely could have seen Riku in the past!

He writes cheesy self-help books about managing one's desires, since desire was a HUGE theme in his canon. XD I wound up making up titles for three: Desire, Doubt, and You; Purpose through Passion: A Guide to Finding What You Really Want out of Life; and When Desire Attacks: Balancing What You Want Versus What You Need.

He isn't a sex therapist, he swears, although he's likely seen people for that sort of thing in the past to refer them to a specialist of some kind. XD I just went with it because it's such a huge part of his canon, hehe. (Want a terrible opinion of him? Go for it. XD)

Sadly, he is not the school shrink, but it's highly likely he'll go over there if they have a particularly problematic case they'd like a second opinion on. ;D
