+1 delusional hero!
Hello Save the Earth, I'm Levon and I've just joined. Coming with me is Thomas Nobuo the reincarnation of Akagi Nobuo, aka AkibaRed. In his previous life, he was an otaku so deluded he got to live his dream of being a superhero ... sort of. In this life he's a college graduate with a masters in engineering and generally has his life together. Please join me in watching his life slowly fall apart as he remembers more and more.
He arrived in Locke City in March so if anyone wants some previous CR I'd be happy to oblige. Anyway, as I said I'm very excited to be here and if you need to contact me my plurk is

You poor poor soul.Certainly fits then if that's true.Give in to the Gackt-collective.no subject
How do I even begin to app him sobit's true. Word of Gackt say Sho was based on his younger self.I have Sho, Dante, Yoshi, Takegami, Genesis, Riderman, and AU Shouno subject
We have OOO, Cakeboss, the Joker Undead, and the leader of the unofficial sentai. It wouldn't be hard.Really? That's awesome. I always find it neat when characters are based off of actual people.

Well, Riderman ala Gackt-style hasn't much canon presence though he could be filled out by using the original background - even if I do include the PVs for the songs Gackt wrote for the series - but gah so much canon to have to find then.Gackt and Hyde wrote the screen play for Moon Child basing it off of Gackt's book Moon Child, and he has a couple albums that parallel the movie. So yeah, it is a cool thing.

Didn't SIC do a story about Gackt!Riderman too? I know they did a prototype figure for what his suit was going to look like.Man. Gackt really is a man of many talents.

If they did, I haven't found it yet. I did see the prototype pictures of the suit and they were nice. I wish they had the time and the budget to do all the things they were gonna do with the character but Decade was just all messed up.So would it blow your mind to know he also had a musical last year he starred and directed in?

Decade had alot of money problems in addition to the other problems so it's sad, but unavoidable. The fact they didn't use the Decade novel to add to canon, like the Double one did, is not unavoidable.No. For some reason that's less surprising.

A pity really. It seem to have a good idea buried in it, just nothing to actually make it work the right way. I mean AU of all the worlds and a dark side trying to take over them all? Sort of like Sliders but with bugman suits.True since most of his concerts do end up being like loosely connected songs with a lot of visual stuff.

It had real potential, but these things happen Double came next and that got me into Rider so the series redeemed itself in my eyes.To be honest, ever since the stroy driven music video, you can probably easily make a musical out of an album. I mean, they managed to make that Daft Punk movie out of their album Discovery.

The whole series just has me trying to figure out where to start. I know the basic plot/story of Decade because of the movie/PV/some stuff I read, but I just look at all the wiki list of shows and go too much stuff @.@So true. Mom's favorite holiday song is 'Alice's Restaurant' while her favorite movie is Holiday Inn.

Rider? Start with Double or OOO. That's the general consensus right now. People used to also suggest Kuuga quite often if one is at all a fan of crime dramas.Ah my father is similar. Loves the Alice's Restaurant movie to death.

ahh okay I will have to try it sooner or later even though my mind keeps on thinking 'power ranger bugman'My father was a fan of The Wall.

There are two major subbing groups for Rider Double onward. TV-Nihon which goes for less straight translation and more keeping japanese phrases and honorifics and then Overtime which is full translation. If it's from the era of records and even pretty good, my father loves it.

flail so many shows to watch flailThe Wall is one of the few musical choices my brother, mother and I can agree on and my brother prefers rap, I prefer rock (and jrock) and mom likes blue grass. It's a rock opera from Pink Floyd.

Toku is suffering. My family can't really agree on anything besides the Beatles and that's because my dad had us all listening to them since we were kids.
