Kinda sorta maybe slow/hiatus

So, as those of you subjected to my plurk have seen, I will be moving down two hours from here. Lease for the new place is signed, movers are hired and the insane "oh god do I have enough boxes" packing has begun.

Which means I'm gonna be a giant flake with tags likely until the end of the month, and may even drop off the face of the net until we're in the new place and all hooked up with net. Lemme know if there's any thread you want waved/talked out before hand/etc and feel free to pester me with PMs!

Good luck with that! I did a similar move a bit over a year ago and it is indeed crazy though I also had to add to it "how am I going to cram all this in my car and my roommate's truck?" since I couldn't afford movers.

Oh maaaan there'd be no way we could manage with that. We are doing an assisted U-Haul move because too short a notice for proper movers and we have some big and heavy furniture that is idea for someone else to be paid to carry :)

Yeah, I had no big and heavy furniture, just my bed. So yeah, after I moved also had to make a run to Walmart for some cheap furniture to cover the basic needs.

I'll say that Walmart after 11pm is a good source for boxes. You can get some free ones there if you don't mind them being less than pristine, they also have some nice cheap moving boxes too.

We got a bunch from the grocery store. If you ask them, they'll hold them and won't crush em and they tend to be in really good shape. [Where as my parents are fans of getting them from the liquor store, which is why the box that has all my porcelain dolls says that they're vodka :D]
