Amusingly, for someone who isn't actually combat trained, Tamara already has a few useful abilities for combat. She'll be able to drain the bats and Vermedi of their life energy since neither are human (though a bit less with the Vermedi since they are part human). While she's not at the level of being able to kill with that ability, it will make them tired and slow them down. Definitely something that will be helpful.

She's also got that freaky can tie up shit with her hair ability as well. That can help a lot to disable something, also to catch someone if ground collapses below them.

Problem is, she won't have any actual weapons. Pretty much just a flashlight and I'm thinking a swiss army knife (because they can be generally useful for the geeky sort). She'll be a great help to someone who can kill them after she weakens them. I would like her to be able to use an ability to directly save someone's life, mostly because she thinks so badly of her abilities and seeing them help someone would do her a lot of good.

However, if Haley and I are still going with our plan of Sasame getting hurt to protect her, she'll become useless at that point because the echo she'll get from it would definitely be too distracting. The two of them would likely need some help then because she'll be useless whether she got injured or not. I haven't decided on injuries for her, she's likely not getting off scot free, but won't be badly injured.
