+1 Keyblade Master

Hello, Save The Earth. This is TealDeer, player of Chris Starsky (Starscream) with my second character (which I promised myselfI wouldn't do, but...)

This is Maya Aaronson, best known as the author of The Starheart Saga, a series of novels about the adventures of a group of warrior-mages with magical keys IN SPACE. They usually get marketed towards the YA crowd, but Maya doesn't believe them to be in any particular category. She also teaches at the Locke City Fencing Club, and has her own tumblr. So there's your previous CR opportunities woo. I am completely open to also having people be related to her (I think she has an older brother and a sister, and we can always squeeze in other siblings and cousins ;) ) She also owns a rather large house (long story having to do with her second divorce) with plenty of room, so characters who need a place to stay will be welcome there.

Unbeknownst to her, the "dream" she had that inspired The Starheart Saga was actually her first Echo. Also, she's really the Keyblade Master Aqua from Kingdom Hearts. DANG YO. Since Maya is in her 60s, I'll be using Helen Mirren as a PB until she Echoes her original appearance, which will make everything awkward.

If you guys didn't already know, I have a Plurk under the name lucid_seraph, and I'm on AIM as failscream.

FINALLY! I had a little plot I wanted to do with Maya with LockeCon, the local science fiction & comic books slash catch-all nerdy media convention. The problem is that with all the crazy big plots coming up, I'm not sure if that's possible. If there's interest, there's a post on the plotting post here. I figure it might be a super fun, more casual, less OH GOD OH GOD plot.

UH YEAH

Nnope. Just that I keep getting it mixed up with I Wanna Be The Guy, which I also don't know beyond passing references on TVTropes.

/shrugs. Great-aunt is possibly not a close enough connection to be troublesome (though I've never personally lived in the same city as any of mine), but I'm fine either way. The fencing club is probably out, but he has read her books, at least enough to mention Starheart to someone asking for recommendations.

Oh. Um.

I really should have mentioned this up front, but Fred's Mystery Plot Event is going to end up killing someone close to him - friend, family, or pet - and at the moment it's looking like it'll be one of his parents. So I'll understand if you don't want the repercussions of that.

... Shit, I'm actually kind of torn! if it's her niece/nephew, that might actually drive home for her how bad things are, AND cause an Echo.

... so actually, I'd be down for it :V
