Hi everyone! I'm Blue, bringing in Sandry aka Sandrilene fa Toren from Tamora Pierce's Circle of Magic series - she was a noble with thread magic (which is much more impressive than it sounds, trust me), but here she's Sandra Torrens, a rich heiress attending a posh private girls school who plans to go on to study fashion at college.

Welcome to the game, Blue! (I think you're our second Blue now? Either than or it's so early that I'm a little confused on the issue...) I'm Skai, and I play Jack, who was framed and is now on the run... as the main suspect in the brutal murder of an entire family. Feel free to assume the worst until things get straightened out, Miss One-Percenter. :]

Poor Jack, sounds like he's been having a rough time! I imagine that so far Sandry/Sandra would have only seen things like negative news reports and the like on him...so yes, there will probably be some Assuming The Worst happening XD

I'm Haley and this is Sasame, former knight with sound powers, now Sam, flirty college student with an interest in psychology and music. Sandry seems juuuuust old enough for him to feel OK with flirting with her so I hope you don't mind that. XD;

Hi! And yes, I am definitely happy to see all the book characters here (even if I don't necessarily know all of them). More games need more book characters, really XD

I don't mind, although depending on how he does it Sandry may either be secretly charmed despite her declarations that she doesn't like being charmed, or just tell him to stop it (because she doesn't like being charmed...) XD

I think sometimes a lot of people just don't even think of it in the first place, in a way. Like I remember when I first started rping, I didn't even consider the fact that book characters could be played until someone else apped Teatime and I went 'holy crap we can play from Discworld?' That and it seems to be harder (although personally I find trying to canon review for a TV character much more involving than book characters. TV shows take up way more time.)

Haha, yeah, I purposefully app from shorter canons to help with canon review. but thinking about it like that, canon reviewing a book character ISN'T that bad. The PB is pretty tricky sometimes, though.

Haha, that's probably the best plan, really. (Of course I end up being insane and picking ridiculously long things anyway - the second character I'm wanting to app here is from comics, which is worse than anything, oh god)

Oooh, and PBs can be a pain, yeah - especially if you have a character with any kinds of traits that are uncommon in media, like being overweight or a minority race. Weirdly though having played so many book characters myself I've come to actually like PB hunting!

Hah, if I ever play a book character then I know who to ask for PB help, then! (although i have so many characters I want to play that who knows if I'll ever get around to it...)

Well I have indeed gone on massive PB hunts for friends in the past, so, you are always welcome to ask :P (hopefully one day you will!)

Hi! Now I gotta ask how he's three Bakura's in one XD (Unless it's normal Bakura and evil Bakura...although that still leaves one Bakura...) And she won't actually scream in pain - she likes clothes and fashion but isn't actually at all bothered by anyone else dressing badly - though perhaps if she ends up getting along with him she'd attempt to fix up his wardrobe XD

Basically, all three souls are twined together in one, since really, there's a very thin line between Yami Bakura and Thief King Bakura and Ryou Bakura and Yami Bakura are pretty well linked too. It's a big bess, basically :D Nerdy boy Bakura winds up with massive anger issues on top of all his others and he's a lot more devious and manipulative. :)

Oh god so many Bakuras!

Biiiiig time. He's had 5 of them so far and he's already kinda wondering WTF is going on that one he's arguing with himself and another he's off flipping the bird to a pharaoh. Bumpy ride, that one :)

I talked about this a little on Plurk... Julien's estranged dad is superrich and probably rather enamored of Sandra's Berene-substitute. ...He's probably part of whatever version of a "court" she has.

...Julien's several years older than Sandra and much more middle-class, but he might know her casually.

I did actually decide the Berenice lives...somewhere else and just sends Sandra to school in Locke city. Seemed appropriate for them to live far apart - but being the businesswoman that she, she'll still have travelled around a lot, and so could have met Julien's dad that way.

Possibly they've met at a stuffy business function that they were both dragged along to or something? XD

That's fair! Julien's father is more based in Canada, for his part.

Hee. Julien's not had contact with his dad since he was about five. He does resemble Mister Argent to a fair degree - though the guy's hair is white - so it could be a hiccup ("he looks sorta like...") or something to mention sometime, maybe.

fffff I tend to think he'd kind of just think of them as "oh I think I know you" when he bumps into them on the street. Unless they're in the same classes as he is, cough.

hi and welcome! i'm seriously loving all these book characters, gosh. i'm kou and i play this kid here, banagher links from gundam unicorn, a former giant mecha-pilot turned geeky high-school kid. sandry sounds like a mega cutie just from glimpsing her app, so i hope i can get to bother you for cr! they're the same age though he mostly suffered through public schooling, but i'm game for conjuring up anything.
