Hello everyone, this is a new player, Kat here, bringing you Aziraphale from the novel Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman! In his world, Aziraphale was an angel (a Principality, specifically) who was partially responsible for stopping the apocalypse by being completely incompetent. He was formerly one of the guardian angels who guarded the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve were banished from it; he also became very good friends with the Serpent demon, Crowley, who was responsible for getting them kicked out!

Reincarnated, Aziraphale is now an ordinary college professor at Locke City University named Francis Fell, who teaches courses in theology, and is also an atheist! And he likes his life just the way it is. To him, the events of Save the Earth will be more than a disruption to his lifestyle; rather, it will mean the slow and steady shattering of his fragile perception of reality, and all of the hysteria and bitter laughter that follows.

Oh boy, well given Aziraphale's past relationship with a fallen angel being one of extraordinarily long lasting friendship, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where CR between him and other angels (fallen or not!) goes. Is Sandrath on the same scale as major Archangels like Gabriel or Michael? Cause that might freak out poor Aziraphale/Francis quite a bit.

Me too. San's doesn't see himself as that highly as Gabe & Michael, since he just considers himself as a warrior more than an influence on the surface. But that won't stop him from messing with expectations or depictions.

Oh dear. Well the hierarchy of angels as it works in Good Omens is weird, because it is implied that there are archangels and then Archangels (who are actually Seraphs). Aziraphale is above archangels in the hierarchy, but WAY below Archangels.

If San messes with him, though, I'm sure he'll believe he's the more powerful kind of Archangel at first.

Most likely and San will probably think the same thing, but in more of a 'ooooh a challenge' thought process.
