quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology)
Greetings, humans. I am G-man, and on this day, the seventeenth day of the fourth month of the two-thousand and thirteenth year of this common era, I bring you Doctor Mordin Solus from Mass Effect! Mordin was once a scientist salarian who studied species turian, asari, and batarian helped save the galaxy from some aliens called the Collectors, and then died curing a fertility-lowering disease. It was all very sad and his death scene was rife with callback lines.
Now, however, he is simply a thirty-four-year-old human doctor who was in the FBI at one point. He currently runs a clinic in Locke City's slums. He retains his passion for science, but is probably less of an "execute dangerous people" kind of guy (only somewhat though). He was a moderately famous scientist before his FBI days, and did a few interviews and TV appearances.
App here and info post here
If you ever want to reach me, just message this journal. I am also heir_of_life on AIM, but I never check it, so that isn't nearly as reliable.
This looks really awesome, and I'm looking forward to playing with you guys.

WANT TO WORK TOGETHER? 8D Or are there two charity clinics in Locke City?

How long has Dr. Solus been working in the city? Do they operate out of the same place already, or do you want to play out the team-up in-game? I'm totally up for either.

Also, Mordin's been concussed recently from an accident when he was guest supervising a class at the university. I figure he's been out for about a week, getting treated at a bigger hospital, and has only just returned.

Here's what I have established for LSR Clinic:
--It's just south of the Dead District, on Five Forks Road.
--It's called LSR Clinic because the old sign is so worn that only the letters L-S-R can be read.
--The doors are heavy and metal, and the windows are barred. The walls are painted cinderblock, and it's very sparsely furnished.
--There's an operating room, an examining room, a waiting room, an office, and a back storage room. That storage room has a back door that can be accessed through an alley with minimal risk of someone seeing you go in.
--It charges a flat fee, but that is negotiable, and no one is turned away if they can't pay. They've also treated criminals, and because of that (and the fact that there's nothing worth stealing) gangs leave it alone.
--It's registered as a 501c3 tax-exempt charity, but Strider's had a devil of a time getting funding for it, so to help cover operating costs, he deals weed on the side. Up to you if Mordin knows about this or not. I have no idea if that's too sketchy or illegal for his tastes, but this Strider would not be above hiding that.
Does this sound good to you? If there's anything you'd like to change it can probs be retconned -- I've just been crazy active all week re: Strider connecting with patients over the network.

The only change I can think of is that everything needs red lighting to match Omega.no subject

Oh, and the hours right now are 8AM-10PM, and Aaron's got a phone number up by the door to call if there's an emergency and the clinic's closed.
Next question -- how do you think they met? It would probably have to be in Locke City, and my history right now says that Aaron's been working at this clinic for a little over two years.
....also, until Aaron finds out Mordin is also one of the people with the magic-number-network-access, he's going to be nervous that Mordin will find out that they're seeing patients who have physically impossible blood conditions. He's not sure how he's going to handle that yet.

I figure out they'll find each other soon enough. Mordin has an extremely distinct speaking style.

He's not unfriendly, not by far, but he keeps his personal feelings to himself, and doesn't talk much about what he did between leaving the Army and opening LSR Clinic. (so glad you got that, I'm particularly proud of it ♥ )
And as for finding one another on the network, Dr. Strider favors voice posts and has openly used his name to offer the clinic's services. It shouldn't take long for them to figure things out.

There is no way this can possibly go wrong. I can't wait.

Oh also, when Mordin comes back he'll notice Aaron humming a song in a weird language to himself. One of his recent echoes was the Lay of Luthien -- if asked, he'll claim the language is Finnish, and won't really talk about what the song is about.

I look forward to rping with ya!

Also, Lyall has already had some dealings with Aaron/Aragorn, and will quite likely be back in the future, so it'd be an easy way to get face-to-face CR.

I'm Skai, and I play Jack here! Who will eventually stop being a crippled ex-military type on the run and start being a badass cyborg ninja. Someday. Metal Gear cybernetics seem awfully weirdly biological (who put all that blood in these robots?!), so I am all in favor of more doctor and scientist types! He also probably counts as a dangerous guy, erk. :|a

I'm Sam, and I play the other Hajime, a quiet nerdy pre-med student who in his past life was a badass vampire samurai.
Looking forward to playing with you!
check out that incorrect account usage
(no you should play mass effect it's great)
Nice to meet you, too.

I'm Joysweeper, I play Julien here, the overly social talkative reincarnation of a pigeon spy. He volunteers in that LSR clinic.
