quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology)

Greetings, humans. I am G-man, and on this day, the seventeenth day of the fourth month of the two-thousand and thirteenth year of this common era, I bring you Doctor Mordin Solus from Mass Effect! Mordin was once a scientist salarian who studied species turian, asari, and batarian helped save the galaxy from some aliens called the Collectors, and then died curing a fertility-lowering disease. It was all very sad and his death scene was rife with callback lines.

Now, however, he is simply a thirty-four-year-old human doctor who was in the FBI at one point. He currently runs a clinic in Locke City's slums. He retains his passion for science, but is probably less of an "execute dangerous people" kind of guy (only somewhat though). He was a moderately famous scientist before his FBI days, and did a few interviews and TV appearances.

If you ever want to reach me, just message this journal. I am also heir_of_life on AIM, but I never check it, so that isn't nearly as reliable.

This looks really awesome, and I'm looking forward to playing with you guys.

Oooh, potential future drama. I like it. So it's not too sketch/underfunded for what you had in mind?

If you want to hang red plastic filters over the fluorescent lights be my guest.

Excellent. I'm super excited about this -- not only is it an A+ teamup, but it also means I can play Aaron doing other things on days off without him worrying about what if someone comes in and no one is there.

Oh, and the hours right now are 8AM-10PM, and Aaron's got a phone number up by the door to call if there's an emergency and the clinic's closed.

Next question -- how do you think they met? It would probably have to be in Locke City, and my history right now says that Aaron's been working at this clinic for a little over two years.

....also, until Aaron finds out Mordin is also one of the people with the magic-number-network-access, he's going to be nervous that Mordin will find out that they're seeing patients who have physically impossible blood conditions. He's not sure how he's going to handle that yet.

Sounds good to me. Aaron isn't the most open person, nor is he the easiest to work with -- there was a difficult period where he was still adjusting to having help, and breaking the "I-have-to-do-everything-by-myself" habits he'd formed, but he's gotten loads better about it.

He's not unfriendly, not by far, but he keeps his personal feelings to himself, and doesn't talk much about what he did between leaving the Army and opening LSR Clinic. (so glad you got that, I'm particularly proud of it ♥ )

And as for finding one another on the network, Dr. Strider favors voice posts and has openly used his name to offer the clinic's services. It shouldn't take long for them to figure things out.

It will be beautiful and great and we'll all learn important lessons about the value of friendship, honesty and trust.

Oh also, when Mordin comes back he'll notice Aaron humming a song in a weird language to himself. One of his recent echoes was the Lay of Luthien -- if asked, he'll claim the language is Finnish, and won't really talk about what the song is about.
