Snake-crashin' at Elian Price's!

Hello and a heads-up to participants in the farmhouse assault meeting log dated for today (January 25th)!

The snake statues are about to enter - as warned by Sophie, there will be five of them, each one to have its own new thread in the log in which to confront it. Feel free to plan your groups and course of combat/defense to this post!

Also know that, if your character has not yet encountered animate snake statues since David Proud was captured, they are eligible to receive their plot Echo from doing so through this log.

He remembers nothing of how he died, either in his past life or in this one, so he'll honestly just kinda be like "....WELL ALRIGHT THEN i guess that's how ghosts are made"

(they will probably figure out she is not actually a ghost once she realizes she still has a pulse, though)

Ravi was at the meeting and not doing much talking but doing a whole lot of listening and he totally caught the parts about 1) the snake statues exploding when they're killed, and 2) the fact that they're apparently here to protect Proud.

Which means that if they're defeated here they're probably taking out the whole neighbourhood, which means that they need to somehow get the snakes somewhere they won't cause any damage by exploding, which means they need to get Proud somewhere the snakes won't cause any damage by exploding.

So Ravi's plan is basically to kidnap Proud, drag him out somewhere away from civilization (like, idk, the mines or something??) and threaten the shit out of his personal well-being. (that ruthlessness regain might actually be useful for something!!) This is in the hopes of luring the snakes after Proud so that they can be killed and exploded somewhere they won't cause any harm.

Rachel is...probably going to try to contain the snakes. She's getting her full telekinesis back, and coupled with her mental constructs she can probably corral them pretty well. Assuming this doesn't step on anyone's plans, of course.

Cain is getting back a totally not at all villainous transformation, so he might be a decent hand in a fight against the snakes.

Update, mods have confirmed it's cool! Ravi will be kidnapping Proud and driving him out to the mines to hopefully lure the snakes out there!

I don't want to ruin anybody's fun; I'm assuming the snakes aren't going to follow until Proud is actually being threatened out at the mines, which would give everyone time to get their fight on. And maybe even explode a snake at the house if you want to???? Whatever man it's cool w/me!

Alan was called on the scene by Octavia and will be attempting to use the gun she handed to him. He probably won't be able to do much damage to the snakes, but he can provide some measure of protection and/or distraction by creating a literal meat shield?

Willing to help with whatever is needed, and the Cures are around Marisa so knowing something is going down wouldn't be hard.

But is there going to be any way for the fighting groups to know what's going on? What's to stop Winter from just dropping their snake into an ice cube (when if they knew the plan, moving the battle elsewhere would probably be seen as ideal?)

Walter is there and also has one of the guns Octavia brought. And surprisingly, he can actually hit things with it! But it's just a gun, so the best thing he can offer is distraction. He can be smacked around without getting horribly damaged, although it will definitely hurt in the morning. I'm up for having him actually save someone this time, or just knock him around some, it's all good.

Echo-wise? He's getting a goddamn horse, but I don't see it turning up immediately. Too much chaos already.

Cures are snakefighting out on the front lawn, right? Ravi and Proud will probably have to escape across the lawn to get to his car, so he would probably have the opportunity to tell them they're going to lead the snakes away and DON'T LET ANYBODY KILL ANY OF THE SNAKES, THEY WILL EXPLODE

So whatever the precures want to do w/that info is up to them!

I am the latest, but Alex will probably try to find Anthony in the chaos. He'll try to convince him to get out, but failing that, will want to help him help people. XD Is this something you'd like, and is there a place to stick it in the log?

Bugman's going to need to be dragged somewhere; he's got a hurt leg after tangling with that snake.

PROUDNAPPING

Alright so after working this out with the mods and several interested parties, here is mostly-finalized plan:

• Ravi realizes they need to get Proud out of there if they don't want the snakes exploding in Elian's basement
• Alex attempts to hypnotize Proud to calm him down but gets knocked out before he can succeed
• Ravi enlists the help of Danny and Kotetsu to get Proud out of the basement
• A 6th snake shows up to defend Proud
• The snake never reaches Proud, but will have to be distracted so Ravi & co can get to him (this allows for the event to break into 2 simultaneously running threads)
• After the snake is out of the way, Danny phases Ravi/Kotetsu/Proud/Alex out onto the lawn so they can get to Ravi's car
• Precures fighting on the lawn will be informed that Ravi & co are luring the snakes away, and to make sure nobody destroys the snakes before then because they will explode
• Ravi drives out to the mines and threatens Proud to draw the snakes
• Marisa & Reimu provide an aerial strike to take out the snakes, Danny intangibles everyone on the ground to protect them from the explosion
• Success!

KEY THINGS TO NOTE REGARDING THIS PLAN:

• There will be 2 new threads for this, one for the 6th snake and one for the Proudnapping
• Proudnapping thread will be restricted to characters mentioned here
• Thread for the 6th snake will be open to anybody who has not already engaged one of the snakes
• The process of cutting through the chaos to get to Proud, getting the snake out of the way, and getting Proud out of the basement will take long enough that it won't cut anybody else's threads short when the snakes stop fighting to follow Proud
• Proud is going to be squirming his way out of Danny's protective intangibility at the last second which means Proud is dead by the end of all this
