Snake-crashin' at Elian Price's!

Hello and a heads-up to participants in the farmhouse assault meeting log dated for today (January 25th)!

The snake statues are about to enter - as warned by Sophie, there will be five of them, each one to have its own new thread in the log in which to confront it. Feel free to plan your groups and course of combat/defense to this post!

Also know that, if your character has not yet encountered animate snake statues since David Proud was captured, they are eligible to receive their plot Echo from doing so through this log.

Luke'll be on the front lines! He's got a shiny new sword he's itching to try out, and his plan will probably be 'Keep them busy till everyone gets out of the basement, then bombs as he retreats.

Because bombs are always applicable.

ETA: If anyone who doesn't have a lot of combat skill echos wants Luke to charge in to protect them he is going to be on the look out for people who seem to need help.

ETAAgain: He also has deku nuts which are capable of stunning the snake statues for a few moments. He has a very limited number of these though so he probably won't use them unless he or someone else is really in trouble.

Sophie has earthbending and can at least throw up defensive earth walls and that sort of thing. :|b and throw rocks. She'll be sticking around for the battle so if anyone wants to team up with her do please let me know! She can see well enough with her foot-sight to keep out of the way. She has intermediate-levelish earthbending and beginner's metalbending, so. Please let me know if you want her anywhere, too; she can throw up defensive walls for other people, not just herself.

Aria will have enough telekinetic power to move herself around and anything of that weight and will uh hang back and try to assist from afar and/or try to get herself out eventually if it gets to the point where it's too hot to handle.

Sierra is getting the hell out of dodge, but may stick around after to heal anyone up if they need after (she just can't...fight). She has Cure, Curasa, and Esuna, which means she can at least be of semi-use for the healing part of stuff. JUST...NOT THE FIGHTING PART AND THIS MEETING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE AND SHE IS NEVER GOING TO ANOTHER MEETING EVER. If you want to set up some sort of post-battle healing thing with her, lemme know.

Soren's probably gonna stick around Aria with Annika if that's cool? At least until he decides that staying when Annika has no powers is a terrible idea and leaves lol

Hajime is perfectly willing to go horrible giant bug on any of the statues in order to give everyone a chance to escape. He's got super strength and heals pretty fast, and he'll attempt to punch them into submission until someone's got to haul a punch-drunk roachman out of there.

Arthur hasn't yet Echoed back anything that will help, and so he's going to be focused on helping the others get out of there. He's big and pretty strong for a normal human, and he will carry people away if he has to. (He does not think summoning all the silverfish in the area will do something, and clearly Elian should've had some beachfront property so he could do more to help at this point.)

I wish I could say that Shou could drag the bugman away from the statues but not too sure if he could. It's not like he's strong enough yet.

Also, ECHO REQUEST HO, this is about to get a lot more interesting on my end~ BASICALLY SHOULD THAT GO THROUGH... You should be getting Cure Moonlight, and she can definitely help fight then, if anyone's up for that.

PRECURE PEOPLE: Lily's contacted Annie, Winter, Russel, and Jasmine. She didn't send to Cerise because... at that point in time she's not going to be asking her to come running into danger, but maybe someone can grab her if Remaix wants in there??? And of course, she doesn't realize what Harper is yet.

With transit time I'm not sure if anyone would make it in time, should that not work for whatever reason, but it at least felt necessary IC for her to send the message out.

Since she came up with Danny and Marisa, she could have a place in the log with Snake 5. Marisa is charging up a spell, and Danny is panicking since last time she did that it lit of the sky of half the city.

Danny is on escape/rescue duty! He'll be making trips back and forth in and out of the house to get people out if they have no fighting abilities OR if they are injured and need help. He offered here and if anyone wants out at any point, commenting there (with a quick note that it's pre- or post-snake attack, just for clarity's sake?) is a good way to get Danny on it. (Alternatively, ping me OOCly and I'll jump in wherever you want, this is not the most organized of fight logs!)

If anyone wants, he can also be on defense duty! As in, if someone's about to get hit by a snake statue and can't block or dodge, he could pop in and turn them intangible to spare them from the blow. Again, ping me on Plurk or here or PM if you want this!

Ideally, failing to get Lily out of there is something I'm going to want have crop up~ At least so that she encounters them directly.

Heck, maybe given how sudden it is, she might well just trip as they're trying to escape.

Xander can escort people out physically or one by one by the shadows. Although he can't be of much help in a fight since he has no offensive abilities that will work against the statues (and not harm himself in the process). He'll be echo-ing back some immortality that allows him to function if he loose some limbs or organs (what is missing is replaced by a 'second skin').

Mac has a huge and hefty metal hammer thanks to Sophie and will be echoing back wind powers, so he'll be on the front lines using those to wreck the snakes and protect people. He's already trying to coordinate everyone to get the hell out if they can't fight for themselves, and basically keep things from going all pear-shaped.

Gerald will be trying to get as many defenceless people out as possible, because hey, he's a government agent and that's what they do.

HOWEVER, in practice, all he has is his FBI issued gun (his visor which is UNFORTUNATELY AT HOME) which will probably go over about as well as this. So... people helping him to fight off snakes/help others escape would be really appreciated.

I would love having Sophie interact with him in some way! Either by being in the same snake group (I know I want her to interact with Toushirou but so far that's all I got) SHE CAN AT LEAST THROW UP SHIELDS AND STUFF. And throw rocks.

Earthbending is useful if you're in a location with lots of stuff to bend. :|b

Neku has his pins PLUS he has a thing that blocks telepathy so the snakes 'we can't be defeated thing!!!' doesn't work on him. He'll be fighting.

Lyall is here... even if I haven't tagged him in yet >.> I am strongly considering giving him wolf shifting back for this, which means... somebody's gonna need to contain him once he's tried attacking statues, because he's not able to hold off the anger yet. Thankfully, he still takes an hour or so to heal FROM the change, so he won't be terribly dangerous until then. So... there's that.

Neither Anthony nor Bill came armed nor will be given any additional advantages by the Echoes they'll be receiving - but they're not going to beat it, either. If anyone might like, say, a diversion, non-offensive backup, or someone to assist them to safety (and/or in dubiously-immortal Anthony's case take an emergency blow), either of them will be honored to provide.

Kari came to the meeting and will be singing, but she has no defence yet, so keep her in the back! As for Tessa, she'll come if someone contacts her.

This is basically Miranda's face right now but I have plan for her.

She hasn't seen a snake ever, not just since November, so she's echoing back her old Reyvateil body and an antenna that goes on the SH server at her house.

Together, these two things give her the ability to use Song Magic, but at the moment she has no songs to magic with that would be useful and practical. Or does she?

Question: Would the calming EXEC_HARMONIUS/. remove the psychic impression of "fight and die"?

Failing that, an extremely strong emotion can sometimes cause a Reyvateil to spontaneously create a new Song Magic - this is an extremely rare phenomenon but fear-of-death is likely to be able to cause such a thing. Although, I'm not sure what kind of Song that would produce, yet...

Winter has been summoned by Lily; she'd originally set tonight aside for homework, even knowing the meeting was tonight. She still has her base ice power, and her melee attack capability, but those aren't really helpful against snakes. Depending on what I commit to as an Echo, though, she might be able to do some damage until/unless she gets shot down, so that's a thing.

Bakura can't do a thing vs the statues so he's going to do his best to get out of the way of the people who can.

Marisa has her magical doodads, so she is armed. She has a spell that doesn't level buildings now, a sort of shotgun blast of magical star bullets. If possible, I would like to lure one of the snakes up to the surface where she can fly around and blast it with magic, because fuck this you cannot win nonsense.

Angeline will Echo back Stocking's ability to transform stockings into swords and her swordsmanship. She won't be actively trying to fight, but I'd like to stick her in a position where she ends up HAVING to at least defend herself. Super open to collaboration.

Alex is completely unarmed. He cannot hypnotize the statues, but he will want to hypnotize Proud into calming down. Also open to collaboration!

Soren could probably help with getting people the fuck out after a few minutes if anyone needs him, he can lift a couple people other than himself with his powers. Other than that he's mostly not too helpful in this situation unfortunately, as he still has no control over his eye lasers...

Okay. So I've worked out a thing or two on Plurk with Luke-mun and Sophie-mun, but there's always room for more.

Toushirou . . . honestly has no effective offense against these things, even if he had his sword with him. Which he doesn't. But he does have a super speed ability that he can use to help people to get out -- though said people should be ready for serious motion/displacement sickness because that shit is fast, man. He'll also be trying to work out how to use his ice abilities as combat support somehow, since that's all he'll have. Run when his use is limited and a bunch of people are in trouble? Hell no!

I also plan on getting him a bit hurt here, seeing as I echoed back his shinigami durability and he still has no idea what's different. This would necessitate either a misstep on his part or recklessly protecting someone else. Because otherwise, he's so fast the snakes probably couldn't land a hit on him.

Calvin is going to try and help confront the snakes and in the process echo back some M-FIN' HEAT VISION. He probably can't go front lines for too long, because one hit from the snakes and his bones would snap like a delicious carrot, but he can cover people, provide support, that kinda thing.

Reimu has her Yin Yang Orbs, her Homing Talismans and Fantasy Seal, and I might have her echo back a second spell card too, so she's good to go with the snake statue busting. She can help however she's needed.

If the echo is OKed, Alex will be able to turn fully Andalite, yay! I'm not sure how much use his tail blade will be against the snakes, so he'll probably decide it's best to be a sort of bodyguard/escort for getting people evacuated. Unless someone who can get away with giving him orders tells him to do something else, which would be totally fine by me!

Aaaaaaaall righty, I'm finally getting into the swing of things again here so a comment will be up in a bit. That said, Yoko will be present on escape/rescue duty! Her dad's getting whacked around, so she'll definitely be somewhat distracted, but she'll also be getting her transformation back in the form of a plot echo from the snakes, so there's that. Without her own powers, Yoko's capabilities are mostly boosted strength to superhuman levels and enhanced but only just above human level durability. She's vaguely combat capable, though not to her show levels.

I'm definitely available for last-minute rescues (either rescuing or being rescued, if you wanna play the hero!) so let me know.

Isaac and Miria are immortal!

...not that they remember that. The snake echo will boost their abilities up to ENTIRE IMMORTAL BODIES so no one needs to worry about shooting them in the head and them dying like before.

But they're basically going to run around and try to stupidly help everyone even though they can do jack-shit. Huzzah!
