Ladies and gentlemen, I finally actually went through with a second app. Wonders will never cease.

It's Ken (mugennoken), and I've just had Lily (alilyinthemoonslight) here up until now, but now I have brought you yet more mecha goodness in the form of Lockon Stratos, aka Neil Dylandy... and that second name is what he's going to be going by here, too.

He's a mechanic here now, and a former Army Ranger who got put out via injury. This is going to lead to some fun echoes later on. ALSO: His family owns a bar, too, so if you need to get drunk he can point you in the right direction on top of fixing your car. Just don't... mix the two. At the same time.

STUFF FOR HIM WILL COME... as soon as I get this sucker some icons ready. Hahahaha. Busy week.

Ravi did a couple tours in Iraq as a combat medic, and was stationed at Ft Turner in Locke City. Army CR?!

How well do you want to say they knew each other?

Ravi wasn't deployed until OIF had boots on the ground in '03, but it looks like that still fits with Neil's timeline.

Regardless, anything's about good. He wasn't put out until awhile after that, though I've been kind of leaving the precise dates of when that was - along with various other dates for his service - flexible for just such plotting purposes.

They could have easily crossed paths there, or after the fact with both having been in the service and living in Locke City. Plus, his family running two small businesses, there is opportunity there with, "Oh, you were in such and such."

BASICALLY. ANYTHING WORKS. I left him open enough in that area for a reason~

I like the idea of them both being stationed in Locke City and getting deployed together, tbh. Ravi doesn't have any Army CR buddies yet who actually knew him outside of his deployments.

Neil's a city native, so that could actually work and helps strengthen ties there that are obviously going to have to come into play once certain factors start cranking up.
