Greetings, Earthicans. My name is Carbon, and I have a brand-spanking new character for your game! For the past several months I could not get the idea out of my head of a malevolent AI reincarnated as a surly professor so... this was the result. In 1967 Harlan Ellison wrote a haunting short story supposedly in one night called I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, the main antagonist of which was the all-powerful, hateful, godlike, completely sadistic supercomputer named AM. Guess who I brought here!!! (There was also a video game based on the story made in 1995 but I mainly use the story as a source.)

AM has been reincarnated as an ex-military computer science professor named Alan Masterson. He also is the Major Shareholder for a budding company - Lemniscate Technologies. He uses that to dick around the employees. And as a professor he's a very strict grader, not very nice to his students. HOWEVER he is not the horribly malevolent, hateful, evil thing he was in the story... yet.

So because Alan/AM is not a very nice guy, feel free to opt-out if you're not comfortable interacting with him.

SCREAM. STARSCREAM AAAAAAAAAA. I'm not gonna lie, I kind of stalked your profile a little bit when I apped here because fhgshghsadfs STARSCREAM. ~~I have a G1 Megatron account shhh~~ ~~also my app for AM initially had a strikeout section about how he totally had an F-15 in the AF because Starscream. but I took that out~~

Oh man I need this CR so bad. Alan was in the AF himself (though he was discharged) so he might have grumbled about that to Chris at some point. It's possible she was a student he actually might have liked ffffff.

MAN THIS IS AWESOME. YOU INTERVIEWED ELLISON? FSHFSHD WHAT DID HE SAY? It's both my dream and nightmare to meet this man because if he found out that I was RPing AM and if he found out ~~all the smut~~ the stupid things I did with him, he might be angry. But I want to meet him because it's also my dream to write a symphonic poem on the story...... aaaaa.

She has a huge chip on her shoulder and she's bad at turning in work on time, and also tends to blame professors for her failures, BUT when she actually bothers she's clearly brilliant. She also hates students so there's that; there were probably many "LOL STUDENTS AMIRITE" in the compsci lounge.

Hahahaha well then Alan may not have been a fan of her as a student if she didn't bother to do her work on time. But we can certainly hammer the details out of that.
