Can anyone spare a Mimic?
A thought has occurred to me, in the lead-up to the Wise Snake fight. Specifically, that Fred's most useful abilities will probably be his magical ones, since he's got a low-level sword and the enemy's basically made of rock.
Unfortunately, his preincarnation was not a primary caster, so he's got a pretty small mana pool to draw on. The solution, of course, is to refill that mana pool, but the options for doing that are limited. His canon - or at least his part of it - only has one inventoryable MP-refiller.
So here's where things get tricky. I doubt there are going to be any yet-unannounced opportunities for plot Echoes in the next week, which means I'd need a recurrence. Since the item in question is not plot-relevant in canon, it seems to me that the best way to recur it would be an encounter with one of the monsters that drop it.
So. Do we have anyone that can and would manifest, preferably in-world as opposed to just an image/video, any of the following: mimic (animated treasure chest), gryphon, mummy, skeletal sorcerer, or animated suit of armor?

They don't tend to really move much when summoned, they kinda hover for the most part.
The big trick is getting where Bakura would be using it since he doesn't tend to since no point to it.

Ah. In that case it probably wouldn't work; Haunt's whole thing is that the ghosts spiral in on their targets. Not that it's a very useful spell in the first place, since Haunted is one of the less-reliable status effects.
Hmm. Is he likely to get involved in interviews, post-Wise Snake, and perhaps show off some of his abilities? That might be an opportunity.

And he wouldn't be showing off. He's very cagy and tries to keep his stuff more or less hidden (paranoid / thief's instincts kinda.) He might go pranking with it or if there's any call for a distraction he can whip it out for illusion sake or if someone just wants to see something maybe?
