DC here, with my second and probably final character, Larxene from Kingdom Hearts. In canon, she's another one of those huge jerks with no feelings, from the same Organization as Axel and Demyx. She's also a traitor and the kind of person who's a-o-fine with kicking kids in the face (sorry about that, Sora) so yeah, totally pleasant person here. :D

Reincarnated, she's Arlene Sinclair, presently a junior at LCU. She's a brat. A spoiled brat, who likes to get a rise out of people, but she's not actively cruel and has a few shreds of decency underneath, unlike her preincarnation. For now. Also she's sort of a drama queen (that part she does share with Larxene), so appropriately enough she's majoring in theater. She's lived in Locke for most of her life and I'm totally up for more pre-game CR/acquaintances.

That about covers it I guess? Her intro will be forthcoming sometime today, hopefully.

extended hiatus

Due to Mamoru being dropped, I'm needing to put Shiro on hiatus for a little while. ICly he and Mamoru are going to be with their dad in San Francisco who has fallen ill. Shiro will come back to deal with the Wise Snake thing (because I don't want to miss out on Echoes in the event I decide to stick around) and then depending on how I feel, I'll either bring him back into normal play, more hiatus, or drop.

He'll have privately contacted his friends (basically, if you want him to have told your character, he did) over the network to let them know what was up, and he met in person with Chris to discuss Things.

I'll do my best to keep up with IC goings-on, but Shiro won't be in play.

Off hiatus

After roughly a month of exams, sickness, traveling, Christmas, more exams, family, more traveling and a con, I am finally back among the people who have time to sit down and switch on their computer long enough to do more than check mails... And also I have another exam coming up and am sick again, so I might still be slow. BUT. Yes, I'm definitely back in the game. I just managed to answer all tags that I still had lying around. Don't feel obligated to answer if you don't want to continue the threads but if you want to, please let's continue them!

All in all this means that

I'll give it to you straight, STE: you deserve it.

The games I like to play in are small, slow/medium, and under the radar. Save the Earth, when I joined back in April, was like that. I loved every moment of it. I have had a lot of feelings about this game and it got me through a really bad place last year. I took on modding it because I didn't want to see it die, and because I had the experience, and was determined to make the time.

It's grown into something really amazing, and I am proud of what it's become, and I'm happier to see it thriving than I can express here. The new mods are so enthusiastic, so capable, so full of energy -- you're all in amazing hands as we bring season 1 to a close and move into the next stage of this frankly epic as hell game.

So yes, hiatus until April, hopefully coming back but cannot actually promise at this point. No matter what I will still be reachable over plurk and will be sticking around as a resource/pickable brain for the new mods and play some of the NPCs. De-friend if you want, I understand.

As for my characters, Mamoru will be going back to San Fran to help look after his ill and ailing father, and will end up sticking around to help run the company b/c family pressure is terrifying. Aaron will lose his Echoes but still be around to run the clinic. Thanks to previous instances where he's lost his Echoes, he'll have a vague idea about the Network -- it's about to go public anyways. LSR Clinic will still be a safe place for network folks, and Aaron will basically be a NPC ally. When shit goes public he'll be on your side and will keep your secrets. Any questions about ongoing threads/plots/etc can be asked here; I'd be happy to do anything I can to make this transition easier.

Thank you all for understanding and for giving me such a great experience here. This game will always be special to me -- it got me back into DWRP when I thought I'd never have a home game again, and it's been an honor and a blast playing with all of you.

Hey guys, this is Gilbert (player of vaimo / Åsa / Finland) bringing in a second character.

Glorfindel was originally an elf from Middle-earth, where he already did the dying and coming back thing, although with his memories intact that time. He was killed by a balrog the first time, and he came back to hang out with Elrond and do all the world saving stuff in the Lord of the Rings although someone thought that his role in saving Frodo at the Fords of Bruinen would be better replaced by Arwen. Next they'll be saying that the Hobbit is a dickfest and needs some ladies in too!

Reincarnated, he's a 50ish Londoner who was a model in his twenties. These days he's better known as a charity campaigner, and he works at the university a few days a week as a botany lecturer at the uni. His playby is much younger than he is because I found one for Glorfindel and I'm lazy his first echo is starting to slowly deage him, although it's going to take a while younger until it's noticeable. There's obviously some potential for previous CR with his background and I'm completely up for that, so feel free to shout at me if you want to set something up! I'm still on plurk under purplefluffychainsaw too.
