hello!

I'm laura and I'm bringing you that one incredible asshole (loki) from the marvel cinematic universe. if you've managed to avoid the marvel hype and hysteria over the last couple of years: he's the guy with the stupid cow helmet who tries destroying a planet in a film primarily about a guy with a really heavy hammer. then, in another film, he still has the stupid helmet, only he tries to steal a blue box instead of embarking on blue-people genocide.

here, in locke city, he's less of an asshole (this mostly means he hasn't tried to destroy or enslave any planets recently), is known as LUKE LAWRENSEN, and works for a small NGO. he is also not in possession of any silly cow helm.

maaan, yu-gi-oh was one series i never managed to get into. I TRIED, BRIEFLY, but it just didn't happen. is he the guy who was dubbed with an english accent? (this is the extent of my knowledge. I'm mildly sure there was a character with either an english VA or english dubbed accent. #iamcool)

but the horns would clash with all his outfits, man.

Yeah, that'd be him :) He uses polite speech which of course means he's a Brit in dub logic :) He's also the one who got possessed and stabbed a lot.

But think how cool that helm would look on his wall! He could even use it for a coat rack :D

Hi there :) I'm Gail, and I play this fellow, who is a local high school biology teacher and in canon was a dapper Victorian werewolf from the Parasol Protectorate books. He's about the same age as your Loki, which he appreciates ^^ I also play a wizard kitten who is currently nameless but who is from an obscure pair of 90s fantasy books by Diane Duane.

ngl, I browsed the comm a bit before attempting to start my app and at first, I was totally convinced there was a fifth doctor in the game. but then I, you know, actually tried reading a few things and realised there wasn't. THAT ASIDE (in spite of the fact that I'm sure you found that tale completely riveting), whilst I haven't actually read any of the parasol protectorate series, I have seen it about and I have been sorely, sorely tempted.

You know, I think I may have heard of this guy somewhere. It's on the tip of my tongue... something about the end of the world... (I haven't actually paid a lot of attention to Marvelverse at all, though; how close does he tend to come to mythverse stuff, like Sleipnir's backstory?)

Anyway. I'm KD, I've got this earthmover from Golden Sun, which it turns out more people know (and fewer play from) than I thought. And we could probably manage a bit of bzuh between these two once they get some memories back, on account of GS has Thor as a summon. He doesn't look like Daddy Kirk, but he does have a silly cow helmet.

BUT TO BE HONEST, the mcu hasn't revealed a great amount regarding its mythology versus the actual myths (presumably because it's not hugely important when you're also dealing with guys running around in blue spandex suits so w/e), but considering the comics basically half-hearted approached some of the myth stuff years. and years. and years ago and then promptly ignored it, I'm going to go with: not a lot. also, in the marvel world (or: in this marvel universe. it differs in one of the comic universes but), loki = the son of laufey who is a guy and farbauti seems to totally not exist, so the myths seem to be more of a ... loose guideline than anything else.

sleipnir did roll up briefly in thor, but there's absolutely no indication that sleipnir's origins had anything to do with loki; equally, there's been no indication that any of the shit that happens to loki in the myths occurred to loki at any point in the movies, so I'm erring on the side of 'probably not a thing' for the vast majority of it, unless there's some kind of indication that it'd work or fit within the mcu. (and lbr, a recent run in the comics basically dealt with the hela - loki thing by going IT'S COMPLICATED OKAY, GUYS, IT'S COMPLICATED*. so.)

*although I assure you it was far more interesting in picture format.

but oh! golden sun. I totally played one of those years about, oh, ten years back and I can't say I remember a great deal of it. nevertheless, I'm totally up for cr and shenanigans, and I'll most likely glance over your app like a tremendous creep to refresh myself.
